Sizzix eClips and eCal Users Group - National Craft Month

Sizzix eClips and eCal Users Group has been sponsoring challenges all month for National Craft Month.  I enjoy these challenges, pushing me to think of creative ideas using my eClips - not to mention, usually a big payoff for these challenges!  This week's challenge was to use a function from the Effects tool bar - I chose Wave for my paw print border from Cuddly Cute Designs.

And here is just another pet-themed birthday card.

Today I was inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.  

The gorgeous color, simple elements and quick-n-easy style of Jenn's card caught my attention immediately.  Here's my rendition.

Star Bright

Linda Moore posted a pretty "Cut-Apart" card in Cardmaking and More the other day. Here is my version for their challenge, as well as a SALSA swap themed "Star Bright Star Light."

 Here is a pic of the card opened - as you can see, the inside sentiment is actually showing on the front when closed.  These pictures don't show it, but this style really gives the card some fun dimension.

Trainaholic

Lasting Memories' current challenge captivated me...Famous Movie or Actor Quote. Anybody who follows me blog knows I love The Polar Express. Therefore my two-page layout is inspired by the movie - and one of my favorite quotes, "Whoa! We got it!" from the Hot-Chocolate scene. The layout is me opening the Lionel Polar Express train set my hubby gave me for Christmas the first year we were married.

 Wait!  There's more!  Lift Santa to discover the Polar Express train engine beneath the Christmas tree.

Welcome to my first Christmas card for this year.  Just found the ABC Christmas Challenge and had lots of fun browsing their designers' samples.  So many beautiful and inspirational cards.  This week's theme is "F - Frills or No Frills."  Here's my entry with both Frills (foil and glitter) and No Frills (clean and simple design).

Hello again, Everyone!

Today I'm here to share some stunning cards I made in a class yesterday taught by Susan Bossierre at AZ Scrapbooking!  She is so talented.  This is only the second time I've used Color Burst - I was not impressed the first time - but Susan's eye and fabulous technique ideas work well for me!  Stunning - I will have Color Burst on my craft table within days.  :D

My Bendy

Bendy Cards!  They were all the buzz a while back - I think I made a quick one for my sister's birthday - but today I took some time to edit an svg file to meet my particular needs.  They are very cool when they fall together like this one did!
