Here today with a cute Halloween monster card. I was inspired by Featured Stamper #508 at Splitcoast Stampers. I thought picking up the pastel colors rather than traditional Halloween colors would be a nice change of pace, and I love how it came out!

Spongebob Fan
Welcome to my grandson's Spongebob scrapbook! So happy to have you stop by.
When I think of my youngest grandson, I think of him bringing me the remote control to turn on Spongebob or The Regular Show. I wanted to incorporate those characters in his next scrapbook.
This was a simple and quick layout to make. You can easily change the theme by swapping out the Spongebob paper I used for the background and changing the colors. I used digital papers Spongebob and Patrick (Below Blink). I wish I could share photos - you'll just have to imagine the cutest little kid playing in his sandbox, sliding down the stairs, working in his "office," swinging in his swing, playing his piano, catching bubbles, and climbing the furniture - just a day in the life of a two-year old.
Thanks for coming to visit.

Halloween Treat Box
Here today with some pretty Halloween treat boxes. I was inspired by Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper's Punch Board Pumpkin.
I thought using this cardstock would be really pretty for a girlie treat box - and I love how it came out! I was planning to add some turquoise flourish to pull out the turquoise in the pattern - but came across my favorite daisy-leaf die and figured that would be faster. Wasn't until I was finished I realized I added leaves to my leaves! LOL! Oh, well!
Next I wanted something a little more masculine.I thought using this cardstock would be really pretty for a girlie treat box - and I love how it came out! Wasn't until I was finished I realized I added leaves to my leaves! LOL! Oh, well!
Need a couple more - so now just playing.

Sweet Paris
Today I took a class with a "Parisian" theme. We made three cards - then brought home lots of "cut aparts" to be able to make another nine. I actually made sixteen cards in total. Not bad for a day's work! They are clean and simple - yet elegant.
The was really an amazing kit.

I love how easy Cuttlebug's Maple Leaf die/embossing folder makes it to create a very special Thanksgiving tag!

Floral Card with DCWV
Today I'm using cardstock from DCWV to create a floral card. I'll admit - this cardstock has been sitting in my stash for years and I am just now getting to it to use!

Glitter and Lace
Using tulle and glitter to make your background can be so fun - especially if, like me, you are addicted to glitter! It's always fun if you play with glitter colors and different tulle designs to achieve different results. Today I am sharing how I created an easy, lace background using glitter - along with a great owl from the Whimsical Owl Trio from today's sponsor at Get Creative Challenges - SLS Lines.
Here is a step-by-step for you:
Here is a step-by-step for you:
- Run a piece of cardstock through a Xyron machine or cover with two-sided adhesive.
- Carefully cover with a piece of tulle. Using a brayer, be sure there are no wrinkles in the material to assure best coverage.
- Cover generously with glitter. Burnish the glitter by rubbing it into the cardstock with your finger. Remove the lace (it can be used for other projects).
- Cover generously with the second color of glitter. Burnish the glitter by rubbing it into the cardstock with your finger.
Maybe next time you play with glitter, you can try this technique with some fun lace. Play - you will get many different results.
The owl was colored with Photoshop. The spider web is Spiderweb Doily by My Scrap Chick. The sentiment is left over from a Halloween paper stack purchased years ago.
Thanks for joining me today. Be sure to join us at Get Creative Challenges - theme is Black and Orange.

Back in the Groove
Hello! I've been traveling for the past month - visiting friends and family in Michigan. Could not wait to get back to my craft table and scrap some pics of my grandson with us! But have to admit - it did take me a few days to get back in the groove!
Unfortunately, our kids prefer we don't post pics the grands - so no photo here. But this page will be the last in the album with six additional photos of my hubby and me using the Fuse Tool - and a stkr.it is included at the top. Scanning the QR Code on the sticker will take you to a video of my hubby and me blowing kisses to our grandson. Take a look!
This layout uses the current free svg from My Scrap Chick - Cafe Border cut with my Sizzix eClips (#sizzixeclips). I've added some sparkle (glittered flowers) and bling (pearls added to border), inspired by the current challenge - Twisted Thursday at The Outlawz.

Angie's Digital Stamps Challenge - Anything Goes with a "Halloween" Twist
Using a large image for your cards can be so convenient, especially when you are in a hurry. However, it's always fun to add just a little something extra to add a little interest - a black cat. Today, I am sharing a quick and easy card using the Daisy May Pumpkin Carving digital stamp, along with some word art and a black cat silhouette to make a Halloween card. Be sure to join Angie's Digital Stamps for this month's challenge - Anything Goes with a "Halloween" twist.
