A Glass of Wine will Make it all Better

Hello, Everyone!  I hope you're all having a good week!  Today I cased a card from Splitcoast Stampers - All is Well.  My scrapbook supplies have been all packed up for a couple get-togethers, and I didn't want to unpack and repack between groups.  So today's card is all digital.  I added the fun stitching from We Are 3.  I'm very proud of myself - while the wine glass and flowers are pre-colored, it was a challenge putting them together.  Those are actually four images I put together.  I added a little shading and a bit of "granite" beneath the glass. The fun sentiment is from Whimsical Love.  

I finished the card off with some stitching from We Are 3 - In Stitches.

Power Poppy Hues to Use

Power Poppy's Hues to Use this week is to use Spring colors of Pink, Yellow, and Turquoise.  I used a sassy Basket and Jeweled-Tone Eggs from We Are 3.  I really enjoyed coloring those Easter eggs - Hoping I get some time to color some real Easter eggs next week.

 

Loving SALSA Swaps

Two things I love - my local scrapbooking group SALSA and a fun mystery-item swap.  For this month's mystery item, each person was given a different rubber stamp - the member is to make a sample card with the stamp, then pass the stamp along with the sample to another member.  So what do I do?  Whip out some We Are 3 paper and a fun background image.  I kept it simple, as my crafting to-do pile is rising with Easter on its way.  I used background paper from the Dandelion Wishes collection from We Are 3 and a floral digi from Digital Crea - Letter to a Symphony...and, of course, my mystery item, Notre Dame Window.

Bingo for Twisted Thursday at The Outlawz

Here is a card I made with some scraps for Twisted Thursday's Bingo at The Outlawz Challenges.  The patterned papers are from Sunny Days - the flowers are die cut with paper from Dandelion Wishes - all from We Are 3.  I chose the first vertical column - Yellow, Die Cut, and Flowers.

 

Great Fish and Paper

I really love the colors of We Are 3's Dandelion Wishes.  These great papers and a really cute fish from The Hungry JPEG made a great little card.

Let the Fun Begin

I made this layout with Vintage Carnival from We Are 3 for my grandson's scrapbook.  Can't share photos - but they are of Mommy and Son celebrating Valentine's Day with a day out bowling and McDonald's.

Happy Birthday One-Layer Card

Hope you're all having a good week!!!  I made this cute birthday card from the Once Upon a Time Collection.  It's a one-layer card  kind of a collage of three of the different patterns in the collection.  I used the new Window View and Window Layers for the focus point . . . just perfect combination with the Once Upon a Time papers, don't ya think?  I added a sentiment from the Special Birthday collection.

Hope you like it and that I've inspired you to try making a one-layer card using your photo-editing program.  It went together quickly, and I really like the end result!  Let me know what you think.

Wedding

This is a layout I made for my wedding album.  Nothing like realizing 13 years later that your photographer missed a photo with one of the groomsmen.  The patterned paper is Burlap Beach from We Are 3.

Featured Stamper

Today's post is for the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I love challenges - challenges to CASE are the best.  And when the Featured Stamper has a layout - and a CAS layout - even better.  

Our grandson's live 2000+ miles away.  We are fortunate to be able to video chat with our oldest grandson from time to time - but the attention span of a three-year-old to sit and talk with grandparents he really doesn't know - well there just plain isn't!  However, we can keep him interested once we start playing with the buttons to turn our faces into different characters.  I'm showing my age - I don't even know what this is called!  LOL!  Anyway, this layout will feature him as different characters during our last video chat.  For Baba's sake, I hope they change these faces often, 'cuz Baba's attention span is about that of a three-year-old during these calls!  :D

 

House

Hello, Everyone!  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and getting lots of crafting done!  I have another card to share with you today.  I made this card using Framed Neutrals from We Are 3.  I used the background pattern to create a stone house. 

The house is a digital image from Pretty Grafik.  I recolored it to go with these papers I wanted to use.  If you haven't checked out We Are 3's March releases, you're missing out on some fabulous papers, images, and sentiments.

Birthday Greetings

Hello, Everyone!  Thanks for stopping by - hope you're having a wonderful week.  Today I made a fairly quick card using new releases from We Are 3.  I knew when I saw the Window View printables, this would be fun.  This is what I came up with for my first card.

The background is from the new Sunny Days collection.  The cute bird is looking out a transparent window - so you can decide what the view is.  I have my bird looking out on some pine trees. I used trees from Ink and Dot.  The sentiment is from We Are 3 - Special Birthday sentiments.  Be sure to stop over at We Are 3's Facebook Page to see samples from the designers.

  

Just Dance

Since I'm behind in my scrapbooking, I haven't been participating in many challenges.  However, last week's sketch challenge at the Outlawz seemed perfect for a scrapbook layout.
