Circle Spotlights for Creative Confetti
Created a card today inspired by Power Poppy's Creative Confetti Challenge (Shape Up) and Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper. I really had no ideas for the shapes challenge, but when I saw Cathy's Peony Spotlight, I decided to use circles for my shape to highlight a portion of Power Poppy's Luminous Bouquet - greatly enlarged for a bold effect. I added the computer-generated sentiment. I colored the spotlights digitally, matted the circles and card, and done!
Creative Memories and Heart Layout
After creating a basic two-page layout with Diane Porrazzo, Creative Memories consultant, I added the finishing touches to complete the pages. The papers are Positive Vibe from Digi Crea.

Creative Memories Zoom Scrapbooking
This week I joined some Creative Memories ladies for some Zoom scrapbooking. These ladies shared some simple layouts with a twist. This is the first layout we made - specifically the geometric border on the left. Not as they taught - but I like the results nonetheless. I added the photo matting, titles, deer, and some pearls to finish off the layout. I don't usually like to create a layout without a good schematic including photos, titles, and embellishments....but I did push myself out of my comfort zone and added those on my own....and am quite happy with the completed layout. Yes, I've done it! Now to complete the two-page layout Diane shared. Secretly, I am proud of myself! The deer are from Star Jame Lines - Baby Deer with Mom.

Anything Lavinia Challenge
Armed with the fab papers from We Are 3 and Baubles and trees from Lavinia, I took the plunge into making some fantasy-themed cards...started having a lot of fun - this is my fourth card!
This card is a single-layer card. I started with a card base from Fantasy Scapes (on Microsoft Word.) Then I inserted and resized a Bauble to fit inside the moon. Word easily allows you to format images easily - for the Bauble, I created a reflection. Next I added some Fairy Fir Trees. Then all I had to do was print.
I have to admit - I had fun! Now, if you want to see some real talent, check out the other entries in the Anything Lavinia Challenge #29 here. There's another four days to get your entries in - join in the fun.

eCLIPS Color Challenge
The current challenge at the eCLIPS Users Groups was Cut, Color, and Ink. Well, my fave part of that was color! However, I started thinking I wanted to do a lake scene, but when the flower popped up, I couldn't resist. I did come across a fun lake scene that I will use in the future, though.
I used the green background because I like the way the flowers look against green. The polka dots give just a little interest to the island shape in the middle. I quit making island cards because I got bored with the shape....you can only do so much with it! LOL!
The flowers were cut at different sizes so that not all the cards were exactly the same, but made a coordinated collection.
The flowers are Irresistible Peonies from Power Poppy...colored digitally.
I the package, I included a variety of small sentiments and some pop dots that my sister can add to the cards as needed. I'm telling you, these cards will suffice for many different occasions.

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper Challenge
This week at Splitcoast Stampers, the Featured Stamper is pspapercrafts. I rested on a clean and simple card with a tree as a focus - as I had one Fairy Fir Tree left from my most recent makes. I also used some scraps from the Fantasy collection - the tree is paper pieced with some Fantasy paper as well. I added a Number Birthday sentiment, also from We Are 3.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge
The lacy background was cut from Monica's Creative Room. I used trees and a bauble from Lavinia Stamps and paper (Fantasy) from We Are 3.

A Quickie for Lavinia
I actually had a much more elaborate card in mind for this challenge, but the doily file I wanted to use was just a wee too detailed for a nice cut. Here I printed a Bauble from Lavinia Stamps on Fantasy paper from We Are 3. The top two layers are also from Fantasy and popped up for dimension. I added a couple trees left over from my last Fantasy card, added some pearls, and there you go!

Paper Ala Mode Splash of Pink
Happy Saturday! It's time for another Paper Ala Mode Challenge - this week our theme is A Splash of Pink - the Design Team is using Sweetheart papers, Darcy's Florals, and Friendship sentiments. I also used Seaside Anchor. You must drop by the Paper Ala Mode Challenge to see creative cards from the design team. Super pretty! My card is inspired by the current Wednesday Sketch Challenge - flipped the sketch horizontally.

A Special Fairy Card
I'm very excited for Bonnie who now has digital papers carried at Lavinia World Store. The newest Fantasy papers are also sold in the We Are 3 Etsy Store. I made this card using the new Fantasy papers and digital stamps from Lavinia.
I used one of the adorable Baubles from Lavinia. She's printed with a background of one of the Fantasy papers, and I cut Fairy Trees from the same paper, as well as black.
The matting behind the bauble is from Monica's Creative Room...layers popped for dimension.

BINGO! SALSA Challenge
This is special for me - star easel card that I finally am happy with! LOL!
The hard part is getting those two top star points correct. The angle seems hard for me to get right. I pretty much hope that once I've glued them together, they'll work.
The flowers are from my stash - the sentiment from We Are 3 (Itty Bitty - Sweet set).

Halloween with Miss Kate Cuttables
Happy Halloween, Everybody! The current challenge at the Eclips Users Group is inking - so I thougt. I really need to read these challenges better! LOL! I did make this card in response - digitally inking around the layers of the card. I chose the adorable Halloween Owl from Miss Kate Cuttables.
The pumpkins and witch hats are also from Miss Kate Cuttables, Print 2 Cut, and popped.

Susan's Scrap Club meets Creative Confetti
Those that know me well know that I depend on my electronic cutter. Yesterday I loaded up its memory too much and CRASH! I have not been able to reinstall the software since! Fortunately, I listened to the wise ladies in the Eclips Users Group who recommended when you update the software, KEEP the old software installed. Yeah! It saved me! A number of features missing....but I will at least be able to keep doing what I do most while I wait for someone smarter than me to figure out what's wrong.
The Creative Confetti Challenge at Power Poppy this week calls for a baby card. I hope this works - a baby layout! I have a new niece - since I only have grandsons to scrapbook for, I decided to take this opportunity to scrapbook for a girl! For this layout, I used Positive Vibes from Digi Crea, along with Baby Deer and Mom and a tiny Lovely Forest Deer - all from Star Jam Lines.
Unfortunately, my computer does not like the color turquoise - so on my computer, this looks like a baby blue layout. I hope you see the beautiful turquoise, pink, and green that I really used. When I look at this on my phone, it's gorgeous! Here, gotta admit - not so much. I don't generally collage embellishments - so this was a little tough for me....but I'm very happy with the results. I thank Susan for this sketch inspiration.

It's a Girl and Stick It Down Challenge
How about this sweet baby layout?
It's inspired by this month's single-page sketch at Stick It Down! I turned the sketch on it's side. The journaling was computer generated.
Unfortunately, I can't post pics of the new arrival...but I can guarantee she is CUTE! The photos will be one of Dad holding new baby, and one of Mom holding new baby.
I keep being drawn to the beautiful turquoise papers in this collection (Positive Vibes - Digi Crea) - have to remind myself to add a little pink here and there.
Also not sure if it's my cameras, computer screen, or my eyes....but I sure have a hell of a time posting these photos with true colors. This layout is a beautiful soft turquoise, yet my photos always seem to come out baby blue...if anybody has any helpful hints, I'd appreciate them! I've tried all different rooms and lighting and outside with natural light...two different cameras...and they all come out the same. :(
We Are 3 Floral Watercolor
I went the simple route on this card and used just a big Camille's Cactus against the mosaic from Floral Watercolor. I love the cactus against the bright colorful mosaic - it's so Southwest! Super fun, and as quick as can be! I'm also used a sentiment from the Number Birthday set. There are many more fun designs at the We Are 3 page...so be sure to check them out.

Interlocking Fancy Fold Card Challenge
Our local papercrafting group, SALSA, is having a bingo challenge for members - this "square" is to create an interlocking gatefold card. This adorable bunny is Honey Bunny. He was so much fun to color digitally! For papers, I used Floral Watercolor and Watercolor Strokes.
I created the interlocking parts on my Eclips...a modified doily from Monica's Creative Room.

Creative Confetti: Make a Wish Challenge
It's another week at Power Poppy, and this week's Creative Confetti Challenge is Make a Wish. They want us to use a flower we wish was growing in our gardens. This wasn't difficult for me because I wish I HAD flowers growing in my garden. That's not entirely true - I do have some beautiful Mexican Birds of Paradise and some Bottlebrush - but other than that....my potted garden flowers are all silk....and terrible faded, unfortunately, as my desire to stay out of stores these days makes it difficult to refresh them. Although I'm not a gardener (even my fake flowers look awful!) - I do love flowers....all kinds! So for this challenge I chose the Black-Eyed Susan - and in this case, blue Black-Eyed Susans? Yes, I realize there are now blue Black-Eyed Susans, but when I color, I take full advantage of coloring flowers any color I feel like that day. :D These Black-Eyed Susans from Power Poppy were so much fun to color.
The doily was a freebie from Monica's Creative Room. The sentiment is from We Are 3's Number Birthday set. The beautiful mint doily is cut from Watercolor Strokes by We Are 3. Because of the intricate cutting, you can't actually see the strokes - but the color is gorgeous!
Decorate Inside and Out Challenge
As soon as I saw the Floral Doily, I couldn't wait to play. It is a beautiful collection! I added a sentiment from the Hope set. The card was made using Watercolor Strokes.
Be sure to check out all the new goodies in the We Are 3 Etsy shop. There's another gorgeous new collection - Floral Watercolor. I also dressed up the inside a bit for a local challenge - Decorate Inside and Out.

Look What's New at We Are 3
Check out the fab newbies in the We Are 3 shop! For today's card, I used Watercolor Strokes, Floral Watercolor, and Floral Doily - all new! I added a sentiment from the Hope set.
