We're celebrating my preferred way of papercrafting at Paper Ala Mode with the theme Let's Get Digital! This is one challenge you don't want to miss, because it's a great way to see traditional papercrafting using digital tools. Woohoo! An easy way to join in is using a digital image. My project features Everyday Overlays, a special digi technique.
These overlays are available for $3.50 at Kate Hadfield Designs. Visit the Paper Ala Mode challenge to find out more about digital papercrafting and see examples of both digi and hybrid papercrafting.
The overlays have transparent backgrounds and can be printed over any paper. For this card, I recolored the overlay using a gold foil paper effect, then printed over a red background. I added a heart also using the gold foil effect to enhance the background. Could this be more adorable?
The heart is from Miss Kate Cuttables' Assorted Hearts. The sentiment came from my stash. We invite you to join us with a digital-themed project of your own. Be sure to enter our challenge with a digital-themed project.
