I made this card to CASE a card by Power Poppy Bloomie Cindy Lawrence for Power Poppy's current Power & Spark Challenge - Copy a Bloomie. (Entries are due by July 31 at 8 p.m. EST, so there's still time for you to join the fun.) The challenge is to CASE a card designed by a Power Poppy design team member. For this entry, I chose Cindy Lawrence's No Lines and Birthday Tulips. While I kept in the green cardstock family, I chose Stand Here Mistletoe for my image and inside sentiment. Cindy used the no-lines coloring technique. I prefer to color my images on GIMP, but decided to try that technique in electronic fashion. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The red bow did not stand out, so I did outline that in black - but next time would probably outline it in red instead. I finished the card off with Stickles on my berries.

Great card and particularly love the time taken inside the stamp - something I don't do often either! Sarah BL

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful love the stamping -Bl
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas card! I like the sparkle and the enlarged holly. Wonderful case of Cindys tulips. Thanks for playing in our Power Poppy challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I'm not good at stamping the insides of cards either. Thanks for the inspiration to stamp inside the card more. BL
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous card and fantastic CASE - love your take on Cindy's card and thanks for joining us again at Power Poppy!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Camille, what a beautiful card and a fabulous CASE of Cindy's card! I love how you've done the no-line technique and love that you colored it using GIMP. I use GIMP and love it. It's not only free but does just about everything we need. Beautifully done inside, and I agree that I've been trying to make the insides lovely as well! Fabulous job! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAnother outstanding card!
