I belong to a fun Facebook group called Ecal & SCAL Users that has some great challenges for using fabulous SVG files. The latest challenge is Layers. I had already planned to make a layered cross for a friend celebrating her Quinceañera, and I immediately thought of using this fabulous file for the challenge.
This file has four layers. The top layer is printed using Enameled Gold paper from Nothing but Freebies. I was going for more of a gold layer - but for some reason I wasn't getting gold in my printing.
I really had a ball doing a project that's a bit of a change of pace for me, but I certainly plan to do more. I love the layered crosses.
