Christmas Textures at We Are 3

Most of my craft supplies are still boxed while we attempt to paint the walls - but finding it fun to use up some of my stash that didn't need to be boxed up.  So I've been playing some "catch up" using the new Christmas Textures.

Christmas Textures for We Are 3

Well, you all know I love me some Christmas, and We Are 3's digital papers are some of my faves.  Here is another make using Christmas Textures.  I was thrilled with my poinsettia from Power Poppy to complete my card, and even happier to have a beautiful cut with Monica's Creative Room Laced Frame.  Woo Hoo!

The poinsettia is colored digitally.  It's cut with my Eclips and popped in the center cut of the frame.  Boy, the shadows in this pic look mighty dark - poor photo, because the actual poinsettia is gorgeous!

Christmas Textures Layout

It's a new release for We Are 3, and I'm showcasing the fabulous Christmas Textures.  Isn't it gorgeous?  The colors just scream CHRISTMAS to me, so I decided to catch up on some holiday scrapbooking.

I love the way it turned out.  Be sure to check out the rest of the fun papers being showcased in the We Are 3 FB group.

Summer Favorites at the Eclips Users Group

Thought a little watermelon would be cute (especially for summer) using Summer Doodles.  The watermelon is precolored.  The sentiment is from Design Bundles.  I used Print 2 Cut with a Laced Frame from Monica's Creative Room for the background.  I added a few leaves to balance the design.

Happy New Year

Wow!  Didn't expect to be doing any crafting anytime soon, as my craft room is all packed up while we attempt to get the walls painted...but since our painter seems to be MIA, I decided I'd better unpack some basic tools IMMEDIATELY if I wanted to play along with this month's Blossom Challenge on the Power Poppy blog.  The twist this month is Christmas in July - one of my favorite stamps immediately came to mind - Power Poppy's Hollyberries.  WooHoo!

I decided to cut the Hollyberries and arrange around the cardinal.  The sentiment is from We Are 3 - New Year .  The background is from Monica's Creative Room.

Cupcake Birdie from 2 Cute Ink

I'm showcasing the adorable Cupcake Birdie.  Isn't she the sweetest?  Inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast, I layered the card and "distressed" the edges digitally.  She's digitally colored, and I love her to bits.

Creative Memories Virtual Crop

Today I made a fairly CAS layout using embellishments from my stash.

The bear is colored digitally.  Gotta say I'm pretty please with how it turned out.

Snippy Scrappers Virtual Crop

I've enjoyed scrapbooking crops moving to Zoom over the past few years...I like the social aspect, yet have all my toys within an arm's length.   Last night I participated in the Snippy Scrappers virtual crop - we made two layouts as a group - and I completed many more layouts adding photos.

A Quickie for the Creative Memories Virtual Crop

Here's a quickie I did last weekend for the Creativ Memories Virtual Crop.  Papers and embellishments are from my stash.

Greetings from Arizona

All the patterned papers on this card are from the Christmas Poinsettia collection at We Are 3.  I used an ornament from the Ornament Trio set and We Are 3's Mistletoe to further the festive theme.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Cute Easter Layout

Made this layout for the Creative Memories Virtual Crop last weekend.  Kind of a rush - but I still think it's cute.

Black-Eyed Susan

I was particularly thrilled with this month's Power Poppy theme of Glassy-Eyed.  I could use some practice with glass.  I enjoyed playing with this vase.  I am particularly fond of the Black-Eyed Susan

The flowers and vase are colored digitally.

Be sure to scoot off to the Blossom Challenge to see lovely inspiration from the Bloom Brigade.  Hope to see you join them - the contest is in full swing.

Use Your Stash for Eclips Users Group

The new theme at the Eclips Users Group is Use Your Stash, and I made a card using the gorgeous Alcohol Splashes available here on We Are 3's Etsy page.  Believe it or not, I actually had everything on this card in my stash.  Gotta love saving things!  The gorgeous sentiment is also from We Are 3 (Home).

New Freebie from The Outlawz

It's July, and you know what that means.  New Progressive Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz.  I'm thrilled  to be showcasing Funny Sunflower.  This cutie is precolored - I added some dimension by layering two copies of the top layer of flower petals.  I used my Eclips for the computer-generated title, and papers are from Digital Scrapbooking Experts.  Photo...title...flower - called it done!

You can check out inspiration for the freebie on The Outlawz Facebook Group, but also take a peek at The Paper Shelter to support our sponsor.  The Progressive Challenge runs through the end of July.  Lots of fun to be had....hope to see you there.

Going to be a lean month for crafting, as we are painting the entire inside of our house (lots of packing and moving boxes!), and I hope to get in a trip to see my sister after my last trip in June being canceled by the airlines.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and are ready for the Fourth celebrations - but take time to check out the new challenge at Kerst Christmas.  We've made it easy for you - just include text - since most of us include sentiments, there's no excuse not to join us.  The text challenge inspired me to use a sentiment from the gorgeous Christmas sentiment available at We Are 3 on Etsy.  I printed the sentiment in two different sizes...then split them up on the card.  The new Ornament Trio with text hangers seemed perfect for this card.

The ornaments are colored digitally.  The papers (Christmas Poinsettia) are also from We Are 3.  To be honest...I love non-traditional colors for Christmas and was surprised by the beautiful blues and pinks in this collection.  I find the patterns so charming.

The Christmas sentiment is popped - I find popping up something adds to the overall feel.  The other items were too small and delicate to pop.  I hope you come visit the Kerst Challenge for fabulous inspiration from my Kerst team members - please come play along.
