New Sentiments at We Are 3

Tell me this isn't the sweetest image ever!  It's called Hello, Cupcake.   She's colored digitally.  She was colored before I took coloring classes - but I still kinda love how she looks.

She goes perfectly with papers from the Watercolor Textures and Trees collections from We Are 3.  The birthday sentiment is new - from the Wishes set at We Are 3.

Super Hero

Made this sweet card for my hubby's hand specialist.  As some of you already know, my hubby lost the use of his hand over two years ago.  We were fortunate to be referred to a wonderful hand specialist that provided a ray of hope over the years that he may eventually have some functional use of his hand.  After years of patience waiting for nerves to regenerate, two surgeries to reroute tendons, months of pain, casts, splints, and physical therapy - not to mention feelings of hopelessness as we put our lives on hold - my hubby was able to slightly move his thumb last night.  This card is a thank you card for his surgeon for really working with us to see us through these difficult times.

Sketch Challenge

So here's a layout from a little inspiration from Stick It Down with papers from We Are 3.   

The layout was made with GranMargaret's Flowers from We Are 3.  The lovely large gems are Creative Memories.  The title is a sticker I've had in my stash for years.

I changed the sketch a bit by rotating and flipping.  I made the bottom triangle a bit smaller and replaced the journaling with a border from my stash.

I LOVE Pockets!

I'm playing with the Eclips Users Group today showcasing pockets.  I started with the beautiful Textured Scenes papers. 

Tell me these little ones are not precious with those sweet little smiles.  The top photo is slipped into a pocket for the Pocket Challenge.

For embellishments, I had a tag sitting in my stash and used balloons from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge

Fridays always bring a Festive Friday Challenge at The Outlawz...this week's themes include Animals.  I made a scrapbook layout with digital paper patterns from Nine and a bunny from Kadoodle Bug.

While looking for a suitable title for this layout of my niece just learning to walk, I came across some fun quotes for babies walking.  It was fun choosing those that worked with my photos.

Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz

Okay, I'm the first to play in the Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz this week.   Join in the fun!  I used the sketch for a scrapbook layout, rather than a card.  A nice simple sketch for a nice simple layout using Textured Scenes.

The Outlawz Color Challenge

A fun color challenge at The Outlawz with shades of purple.  Woo Hoo!  Right up my alley since I am currently using GranMargaret's Flowers for my scrapbook.  I made a layout using many borders.

Nine Baby Prints

My project today is a scrapbook layout using the fabulous Baby Prints from Nine.  Some Kadoodle Bug bunnies were cut and popped in the corner. 

Eclips Users Inspiration

This cross is created using papers from Creative Memories Hello Autumn.  I added a background because the cross was not at all stable without it.  The background color is actually a happy mistake.  I did not realize my printer was set to grayscale....yet it actually looks blue - the perfect compliment to one of the bottom blue layers. 

Gift Bag Challenge at Paper Ala Mode

So excited about the new challenge at Paper Ala Mode.  Can you guess what it is?

Yes!  It's Gift Bags - those fun treat carriers that make every gift more special.  Today, we want to see your fancy gift bags.

I decided to try jazzing up this plain gift bag by embellishing with two For Tea printables.  I added sentiments from the For You set, and overlapping these worked pretty well.  the  glittered stems behind are from my stash.  I used Watercolor Textures for the base - solid topped with a blended texture.

We Are 3 Bumble Bee

The Virtual Crop at Creative Memories was this past weekend and I used the gorgeous Bumble Bee papers for this layout.  Aren't these colors just precious?

I'm finding it hard to craft lately - my mojo has slipped away!  So today I'm sharing the beautiful digital pepr collection from We Are 3 called GranMargaret's Flowers.  I added some cacti from Let's Go Cowboy with some rodeo rope.

We Are 3

I made this fun birthday layout for the Creative Memories Virtual Crop.  For this album, I'm using the gorgeous digital patterns from the Textured Scenes collection, available in the We Are 3 Etsy Shop.  Bonnie has come up with some fabulous patterns that I just can't resist.  The background paper on this layout is one of the scenes shrunk to form a small patterned design in the background.  I love all the blues!.  As always, I love how the digital papers can be resized to obtain different looks for each project.

I'm lovin' the fun flowers from the GranMargaret's Flowers collection from We Are 3 and made a fun, serene layout.  I thought that the floral papers suited the photos well.   

Creative Memories Virtual Crop

For the virtual crop at Creative Memories this past weekend, I created a baby layout using Baby Prints and the beautiful Watercolor Yellow Gray Roses.

Winter at We Are 3

Yikes!  Thinking about making Christmas cards.  This must be a record!  We Are 3 has new papers and printables just for that occasion - Winter.  Yes....I have become used to making Christmas cards in temps in the 90s, but with fun printables in the Winter set are cooool!

Gotta say, these gorgeous printables, Winter, are cheerful.  They cut beautifully in my Eclips.  Thought they are perfect for making beautiful Christmas cards.  Finally, I added a poinsettia to add a little more holiday.  Please be sure to visit We Are 3's Facebook page to be totally inspired.

Bra and Panties - Lacy and Fun

I'm so excited that Covid restrictions are lifting - the weather here is beautiful - and we are back in the pool for water aerobics.  Well, I won't be wearing anything like this "bikini" card - but I do enjoy beautiful lacy underwear.  I used digital patterned paper from the Elegant Textures collection to make this fun card.

Lace Texture For Tea

I made another simple card using a adorable For Tea printable - only one of the many fabulous printables from We Are 3.  The base is covered with two layers of Lace Texture for a Victorian look.

Made a simple Christmas card using Lace Texture.  The image is from Creative Fabrica.  I added a sentiment from the Christmas set.
