I'm on a Roll!

To be honest, I tend to shy away from fantasy cards, but today I was just in the mood.  The fabulous digi background paper is from We Are 3 (Inky Scenes).  I added some branches, and the sentiment also from We Are 3 (Dreams). 

Astrid the Fairy is digitally colored.  The stars on the background were added digitally with a star brush.  She's entered into the Twisted Thursday challenge at The Outlawz.  Lots of fun stuff goes on there, for sure.

I used some digi paper from We Are 3's Paris Café collection and added some stickers and digital elements from my stash.

Bring on the Sunshine (A Paper Ala Mode Challenge)

Today we are sharing projects at Paper Ala Mode made using wonderful, whimsical, and wacky digital stamps shared by our sponsor, Pattie's Creations...I used Rain Boots with Tulips.  For my background, I used papers from We Are 3's Little Garden collection.

While on a white background, I used Paris Café by We Are 3 for my borders and photo mats.  The Eiffel Tower is fussy cut from a Paris Café patterned paper.  I added a rat from Deviant Art and journaling from Creative Memories.

The cafe-style paper is called Paris Cafe available in We Are 3's Etsy shop - digital so I can print it a kazillion times and change the size and I can scrapbook away! LOL!  The rat is from Extra GFX available on Deviant Art.  

Festive Fridays at The Outlawz

Merry Christmas!  Okay, I'm a little late - like 12 years late - but better late than never.  Somehow my layout planning went awry and I ended up with more photos than I had room for.  Wanted to hit the Festive Fridays challenge at The Outlawz, so here's my Christmas entry. 

I chose to use background paper from the Christmas Fun collection.

Paper Ala Mode Challenge - January Blues

So, it's only the second Paper Ala Mode challenge of the year, and already I'm happy to have managed to hang in there!  The new challenge is January Blues, and I made a gatefold card - this time using the Moon Fairy digi from Pattie's Creations, which I colored digitally and popped for dimension.

I embossed the background.  The band was cut using a Martha Stewart border punch I got years ago.

Adorable Winter Treats

Today I'm sharing another layout using papers from We Are 3 called Textured Scenes.   It's a perfect collection for winter layouts - the beautiful blue colors just make me think of beautiful snow and ice.  I just added computer-generated titles and pulled out some Christmas trees and a deer from my stash.

I love every sight, every smell, and every feel of this magical time of year.  No surprise I was excited to receive some Christmas picks of my oldest grandson this year.  Here I made a layout using We Are 3 digital papers - Textured Scenes. 

The snowman is colored digitally.  I love this little guy, but don't get much use for it living in southern Arizona.  Finally, the holly is from my stash.  The design is from Meggan and Tessa.

This lacey doily is Floral Doily.  I used a sentiment from the Hope set.

For this layout, before printing the digital background paper, I added a title.  I added some Ratatouille embellishments from Extra GFX and Deviant Art.  I think it makes a cute layout.

Freebie Progressive January

Tell me this isn't the yummiest little Rainbow Girl ever seen!  I had fun coloring her.  She's available free if you participate in the Freebie Progressive Challenge at The Outlawz and in the All Dressed Up digi shop.  For the tag and outside border, I used Scenic Views from We Are 3.  I used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday set.

New Release at We Are 3

There's a new release at We Are 3 this week...Scenic Views.   

I used a Nativity Card from Dreaming Tree.  Instructions were a bit difficult....so certainly some of my colors are off...LOL.  And next time I will print the sentiments rather than cut them to make sure they stand out.

I made a quicky card using the new Scenic Views.  The image is a Design Element from Design Bundles, and the background is from the Scenic Views digi paper collection.   I added a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday set.  

Hippity Hoppity Easter Gnome

Our new challenge starts today at Paper Ala Mode with the theme of "Pretty in Pink."  This will be a two-week long challenge - it will run through January 14.  It was tough choosing an image this time because I was busy - so pretty much chose the first random image I came upon.  But our sponsor, Pattie's Creations, has soooo many gorgeous images in her shop at Etsy shop.  My design features Hippity Hoppity Easter Gnome.  How magical!

I enjoyed coloring her....but once printed, I was disappointed with my work.  Coloring was done digitally.

The papers are amazing, aren't they?  I chose a paper from my stash from our local scrapbook store that closed years ago.
