A Flamingo Birthday

This gorgeous gal is a pre-colored image for my friend's birthday....she always gets a flamingo card....long story.  LOL!  Meet Floral Flamingo.   She was a freebie from Love SVG.  I used scraps for the rest of the card, hence the collection of colors.  LOL!  I used a We Are 3 sentiment from the Birthday Wishes collection.

Bumble Bee at We Are 3

The adorable papers are Bumble Bee.  I used a sentiment from Birthday Wishes for my title.

Wild Flowers Release at We Are 3

There's a beautiful new release at We Are 3 called Wild Flowers.   

I added some silhouette flowers to the cards.  The sentiments are from the Birthday Wishes, All-Occasion, and Bird Songs sets.

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper

Almost forgot to share the card I made for this week's Featured Stamper.   

It's colored digitally.  The clouds are Creative Fabrica.  The bird is 2 Cute Ink's Balloon Birdie, sentiment from We Are 3's Birthday Wishes set, and paper from Paper Studio.

Fairy Land for We Are 3

I made this card using the fabulous Fairy Land from We Are 3.

I printed the feathers on top of one of the Fairy Land patterns and fussy cut them.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Wishes set. 

We Are 3 View

I couldn't resist - the newest collection at We Are 3, View, is designed for slim line cards.  I just had to use it on an A2 card.  I shrunk the slim line design to use as a border background.  I added a fish and a sentiment from the Birthday Wishes set.  SWEET!  Go visit the Facebook page for more inspiration - would love to see your take on the View collection.

Stick It Down and We Are 3

I am trying to get "caught up" on my scrapbooking - persistence is prevailing! As you can see, I've created several layouts over the past week. Here is what I came up with for Stick It Down's single-page sketch layout challenge. What I really like about this layout is that it is quick and easy.

The paper is from the We Are 3 Look Up collection - though the pattern is difficult to see in this pic.  For the "banner," I added a Decorative Border from Love SVG.  After scrounging through my stash, I found some awesome rub-ons my sister gave me years ago that were just perfect - used over the Decorative Border.  With a little imagination, you can see I used Stickles on the red and purple berries - lol!  This turned out to be one of my favorite layouts.

You still have time this month to join the Stick It Down challenges.  They start the beginning of each month and run through the end of the month.  I love these challenges to inspire my layouts - and I'm pretty darn proud that I have both sketch layouts completed for this month already.

Lava-ly!

This week was my own challenge. I like to make themed cards for our neighbors' birthdays. Our gift was a volcano kit. Thanks to Pinterest, I found some ideas for a Lava-ly card for Addison. I used a step-card template from Papercraft Inspirations and a Volvano SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables. Then added some trees from Miss Kate Cuttables' 4 Season Trees.

Celebrate 60 Years Old!

Next week my cousin Steve is celebrating his 60th birthday. He's a school bus driver - so I wanted to make something personalized for him. Cool, huh? My design was not good....and as I write this I know now how I should have changed it. LOL! Should have designed it as a shadow-box card, rather than a box card. Oh, well....fun anyway!

The Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge and Splitcoast Stampers Features Stamper

This week at Power Poppy Creative Confetti, we were asked to make a tag. I used the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast for my design. The adorable flower image is Luminous Bouquet, which is available from Power Poppy. I must say when I first started coloring this, I was second guessing my choice - but I've fallen in love with those small purple flowers. I cut the tag and frame in white with faux stitching inspired by the Featured Stamper, and again in shadow effect in purple. I debated whether I should pop up the frame for dimension - then decided to stay truer to the original design.

The sentiment was a Print 2 Cut on my cutter.  The border is Argyle Border from SVG Cuts.  I stayed with the same sentiment as the Featured Stamper as I thought it would be appropriate for almost any occasion.  Of course, I added ribbon and fiber, as inspired by the Featured Stamper.  Both challenges are so much fun - I hope you come and play along.  Both offer great inspiration with all the lovely entries by participants.

Birthday Wishes - Merry Christmas

For today's card, I used Pastel Angel digital papers from We Are 3. I used sentiments from the Christmas collection and Itty Bitty Birthday collection. The mistletoe image is from Power Poppy.

                                

Let's Do Dinosaurs

My nephew is a Jurassic Park fan - so I had to make some adorable t-shirts for his birthday. Of course, I had to also make a dinosaur-themed card. I wanted to keep it simple, so was inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers. I cut a dinosaur from Watercolor Dinosaurs and added the Birthday Boy title from Miss Kate Cuttables.
