Paper Ala Mode The Outlawz Seaside Fun Challenge Sponsored by We Are 3

Beccy's Place has a great list of fancy-fold cards - I came across a cool Accordion-Fold Card. I tried it out - but mine didn't end up as cool as Beccy's. So I cut off one of the folds - I do like how the patterned paper flows through the entire card. I used Seaside Photo Page for the paper and Seaside Mermaid for the image. The sentiment is computer generated.

We Are 3 - Camille's Cactus

It's May - and the cacti are in bloom. In celebration, I decided to make a card using my personal favorite digi stamps - Camille's Cactus and Camille's Cactus Flower. It's made using paper from We Are 3's Tea Time collection and a sentiment from the Hugs set. 

The images are colored digitally.

                                          

Crash Your Stash Ribbon Challenge

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper

This week's Featured Stamper had a Welcome Home card that inspired my CASE. I colored We Are 3's Home using some inspiration for technique from the Featured Stamper. I decided to add a tree, as the Featured Stamper had one. The gingham paper is from the Plaid Stripes Neutral Collection.

The Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge

This month at The Outlawz, the Progressive Freebie Challenge is sponsored by Elena Zinski Art. Woo Hoo! This image is pre-colored. I combined this with another challenge at the Eclips Users Group - a small box. I thought what a perfect match to use Amelia Mermaid on a small gift container - might make a nice little container for a gift for my water aerobics buds when we are able to go swimming again. I used some new functions for this to keep the image only on the front of the container.

Eclps Users Group Challenge - Make It Small

The Eclips Users Group has a challenge full of fun and inspiration. My project features a Take-out Box from Dreaming Tree. I designed a clean and simple box usable for small gift. It's screaming for something to dress it up, though - don't you think?

I totally fell in love with this paper when I got it - but was never able to find a good project for it.  WooHoo - I think it works here! 

We Are 3 Just Autumn

This spring the challenge for most parents has been schooling at home. So any scrapper would want to document some of those moments. 

The patterned paper is from the Just Autumn collection.  I ripped corners of the patterned paper for the basic layout...then just a few mats, some gardening images, and titles - there you go!

We Are 3 Home Release

Good Morning! How's everyone handling staying at home? I'm a homebody - so no problem here. Fabulously talented Bonnie is continuing to create collections - I'm continuing to enjoy time in my craft room playing with these collections. Everything on this card is from the new Home collection - papers, printable, and sentiment.

We Are 3 Home Release

This week at We Are 3, we have a new Home collection - papers, images, and sentiments. These papers have fabulous colors - beautiful wheat patterns. In finally decided to make a simple, yet elegant card.

                                        

Stick It Down Sketch Challenge

New month - new challenges at Stick It Down! I love the single-page sketch this month - super quick and easy! I'm really excited about how my layout turned out. I used the sweet We Are 3 Dragonflies in Flight paper. I flipped the sketch horizontally, used some digital splashes, and - what I think I loved most - got to use up some of the awesome border stickers in my stash! The title on the photo is computer generated. I finished it off with some sequins.

I couldn't resist making one more gatefold card inspired by the class I took from Susan Bossiere - using Tea Time papers and an All-Occasion sentiment. I started with a layered doily from Monica's Creative Room. I used another layered doily for the front embellishment. I added Lilac by Anne. I seldom use liquid glue, but wanted to hit the edges of my doilies - big mistake.

You know I love layers.  This card is full of layers!

                       

Merry Christmas

I used paper and embellies from my stash to create a second gatefold card inspired by the card we made in Susan Bossiere's class.

Creative Confetti Keep the Distance Challenge

A triple-layer card that I hope makes you smile. The Irresistible Peony (Power Poppy) was colored digitally. The sentiment is from their Hollyberries set.

Gatefold Card

Bluemoon Scrapbooking's sweet and talented Susan Bossiere held another online card class Sunday.  This is the card we made.

The card itself measures 6x6.  

As you can see, there's a good amount of dimension.  This is my card for inspiration - watch for my own takes on this fabulous design.

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper Challenge

In case you haven't noticed, one of my favorite challenges is Featured Stamper! For this challenge I used Anne's Digital Art's Lilacs and colored them digitally. The sentiment is a Mother's Day Quote from Love SVG. I added just a bit of color with a digital ink spray to enhance the Mother's Day sentiment. Organ Pipe National Monument

So many beautiful scenes in the Sonoran Desert - especially cacti! You know how I love cacti! Seriously beautiful, and I got a chance to use my new cactus embellishments from my sister. The tags were in my stash, and the title and journaling are computer generated.

Just Autumn from We Are 3

Today's project is a two-page layout I designed using the fabulous Just Autumn digital papers. I added covered buttons and fiber for texture - and some additional embellishments from my stash. 

The Paper Ala Mode Thank You For Being My Friend Challenge

This week at Paper Ala Mode, we have a fabulous theme - Thank You for Being a Friend, and the Design Team was given Touch of Teal papers, Stardust Bear, and Itty Bitty sentiments.  Stardust Bear comes both black line and pre-colored.  I chose to color my bear - Isn't she cute?  She's colored digitally, and I digitally paper pieced her dress bottom so it actually looks a little lacey.  I added a ribbon for good measure.

You can see that the bear is popped - this and the bow give the card some dimension.  I really love how these simple elements make the entire card pop.  I thought this would make a cute little thank-you card.
