Stick It Down Layout

I can't believe we're half way through January, but happy that now my hubby has had his back surgery, the doctors' appointments have settled down....giving me some time for playing with paper again. 

The layout is inspired by the two-page sketch at Stick It Down.  The title comes from Miss Kate Cuttables.  Let's just say that although this is a very simple layout, I'm quite fond of it.  I'm hoping my grandson is, too!  :D

Christmas Layout

Just look at those greens! That's just about my favorite Christmas tradition - my train tree. The lantern is from the Grand Canyon; the train in the top ornament is from our Alaska trip; we have a stopwatch; and, of course, the bell that rings for all that Believe.

Lasting Memories' current challenge captivated me...Famous Movie or Actor Quote. Anybody who follows me blog knows I love The Polar Express. Therefore my two-page layout is inspired by the movie - and one of my favorite quotes, "Whoa! We got it!" from the Hot-Chocolate scene. The layout is me opening the Lionel Polar Express train set my hubby gave me for Christmas the first year we were married.
