Color Burst U.P. card

Michigan's Upper Peninsula bodes a rustic lifestyle - with a history of copper mining in the Keweenaw Peninsula.  With its rough winters, its people are resilient.  In the summer, who wouldn't enjoy relaxing in the beauty of Lake Superior - dessert for the eyes.

Join me over the next several weeks as I make cards celebrating the rustic lifestyle of da U.P. - my first card using Color Burst and some aged copper embossing.

And Now for Yet Another Bear . . .

I want to share another bear card with you.  Time crunch has set in and they are getting pretty simple.

I did pull out some dies from Spellbinders to mat my bear - the Twist on Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge (use a die or punch).

Building Bears

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Today I have some more Black Bear cards for you.

The first couple cards use SVG Cuts' Elegant Gothic Frame.

The Chevron on this frame is from SVG Cuts Easter Egg Treat Bags.

The border on these next two cards is from Miss Kate Cuttables' Independence Banners.

Bear Die-Cut Card

Happy Tuesday, All!

For today’s cards I'm working on Black-Bear cards for the Fort Wilkins' Gift Shop.  These cards go pretty quickly, but look cool when finished, I think.  :D  I used Paper Studio's Hoot, Hoot paper pad for the patterned paper - can't remember where the bear came from.

U.P. Collection

It is almost time for Michigan campers to begin visiting state parks.  This UP collection is just the beginning of cards that will be available at Fort Wilkins State Park.
