Paper Ala Mode Thinking of You
This week at The Outlawz and Paper Ala Mode Challenge, the challenge is Thinking of Others. I chose two papers from our sponsor We Are 3 - papers from Floral Watercolors and Watercolor Strokes. I combined digitally, and couldn't resist using a digital stencil technique on the Watercolor Strokes. I added a doily from the Floral Doily set. The sentiment is from the Hope set.

Creative Confetti Challenge - Do It For Dad!
Happy Saturday, Everyone! The Creative Confetti Challenge this week is Do It For Dad. I used a deer from Deer Trio (Doodlebug Pantry) to make a masculine card. Hah, just realized I made a Valentine's card with pretty non-traditional colors! Think I was going through my stash, matching colors - but not really paying attention to my Valentine sentiment. LOL! That's okay - my hubby will be so impressed with my coloring of the deer, he won't even notice!!!! I must say - I'm pretty impressed myself! LOL!

We Are 3 March Release
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. My hubby contracted a bone infection, so I have been running with him for doctor's appointments and daily IV doses.
This month We Are 3 has some fabulous new papers - Brick Wall, Spring Flowers, and Lined Paper - and Fabulous Word Art (pun intended!) I love the way a masculine paper (Brick Wall) and a feminine paper (Spring Flowers) in coordinating colors go so well together...kind of a shabby chic feel. Of course, I'm always trying to do double duty - so made another pack of cards to give as a gift when we travel this summer.
The flowers are from Watercolor Bouquet from Creative Fabrica.

Sweet Window View with a Featured Stamper
Featured Stamper and We Are 3 - I don't think you could ask for a better match. I enjoy casing cards from featured stampers at Splitcoast using wonderful digital items from We Are 3! The best part is, I can often make great cards with little effort!! I personally think the best thing about the Featured Stamper challenge is that I can choose the challenge of my choice!! How great is that?!?
Here is a card I made for this week's Featured Stamper, Sylvia. Sylvia had a simple card with a window accent. I used Window View and Winter Serenity together on this card.
On this card, the background paper is Winter Serenity. I love that collection - it is so fun to work with. The watercolor paper you see out the window is also Winter Serenity. To create this card, I pulled all of my inspiration from Sylvia's card. She had a small banner with a sentiment on her card - I just happened to have a banner with a sentiment on my desk waiting to be filed from another project!

The Outlawz - Watercolor
I once was a big Ken Oliver Colorburst fan, but once digital watercolor backgrounds and images became popular, I'd rather miss the mess and find these just as fun. For last week's Twisted Thursday Challenge at The Outlawz, I cheated and used Watercolor Peonies from Design Bundles to make my card - and then I made another - and another - and another. I plan to abandon these on a future shopping trip.

Pretty Exotic Seaside Donuts
We Are 3 has amazing digital papers - I chose yummy Exotic Seaside for this birthday card.
My card for today is highlighting Dandy Dunker Donuts (My Scrap Chick) for my son-in-law's birthday - a Simpsons fan. To complete my card, I used a happy birthday sentiment for a background. I especially love using digital papers and images as matching colors is so easy. To add some dimension to my card, I created a second birthday sentiment - and some twine.

Funky Cakes
I really love Glitter Ritz - but so seldom take the time to design with it recently. Outline stickers and fine glitter can be used to create fun themed cards with sparking images. To create this set of cards, I used Funky Cakes outline stickers and Watercolor Batik digital papers (We Are 3).

Paper Ala Mode - Scrapbook Layout
Hello there!
I'm using digital papers from We Are 3 for this layout - Nature Blends and Burlap Beach. For the Paper Ala Mode Challenge this week, I chose Cascading Hearts to use in my design. First designed the layout on the computer to make sure I got all my hearts in the right place.

Grandson's Birthday Card - Digitally Made
Today I am sharing a totally digital card for the new challenge blog Digitally Made. It's amazing how much is out there now to create digital cards and layouts. This card is for my grandson's birthday - he wants a new lawn mower - of course, Grandma and Grandpa will oblige.

Watercolor and Delicate Daisies
What is your favorite watercolor technique? I do enjoy making watercolored cards - from time to time I like to play with Colorburst. HOWEVER, the easiest way to make gorgeous watercolored cards is with digital watercolor papers! No fuss, no muss! For this card, I'm using the Watercolor digital collection by We Are 3.

Color Burst U.P. card
Michigan's Upper Peninsula bodes a rustic lifestyle - with a history of copper mining in the Keweenaw Peninsula. With its rough winters, its people are resilient. In the summer, who wouldn't enjoy relaxing in the beauty of Lake Superior - dessert for the eyes.

Die Cuts, Rub Ons, Stickers, and More
If you're like me, you've probably got a lot of die cuts, rub ons, stickers that you've never used on your scrapbook pages.
Well today, I dug into my stash and pulled out some random bits that gave my page a bit more of an eclectic look that normal.

Say it with a Daisy Rope
Do you like to play with digis? Get Creative is sponsoring a challenge sponsored by The Stamping Boutique. Join in the fun, share your creation (with flowers), and perhaps win 2-3 digital stamps.
For my sample, I am using The Stamping Boutique's digital image Daisy Rope.
I printed the image three times - colored with watercolor pencils:
- With the sentiment
- One fussy cut to fit the sentiment circle
- One enlarged with individual flowers cut for the corners
I hope you will join the fun at Get Creative Challenges.
