I really wanted to just use stash, so I made the card using Paper Studio papers and an embellie from Graphic 45 - both I'm sure purchased before I retired!!!! I added a little shadow to Halloween to make it stand out a bit better against the paper pattern. Thanks for the challenge, Jan - it was fun!

Scrap Borders
Hi, all!
For today's card, I really wanted to use up some borders from Graphic 45's Place in Time collection and Halloween in Wonderland collection. I've had all these scrap borders for quite a while and would often take them out, look at them, and then use something else. I suppose I was waiting for an idea to strike. I'm sure that's happened to you. You love a paper, buat it just takes you a bit to come up with an idea for it. Who hasn't experience that!
Anyhow, I decided to add an image from Place in Time - and a butterfly chipboard embellishment from The Robin's Nest.

The Mad Hatter's Tea Party Blog Hop - Two Lumps of Fun - Reposted
Welcome to The Mad Hatter's Tea Party. If you happen to fall in the rabbit's hole, you have landed in the wacky wonderful world of Alice. The March Hare is scurrying and hoping you won't be late in attending and wishing our hostess a Happy Birthday!!! She does love celebrating her birthday, and what better way than to have a tea party with all of her favorite friends in this Wonderland!!!!There are some wonderful sponsors today to help us celebrate:
Rick St. Dennis has some fabulous digi's, and he is offering three of these to one lucky winner. You can find him at http://rickstdennis.blogspot.nl/. He asks that you become a follower.
The Stamping Chef at http://thestampingchef.oo.gd/index.php?route=common/home is offering 3 digis to help you cook up something special to one lucky winner

Before we move on, let's everyone wish our hostess a very Happy Birthday! Have a great day, Lynne - glad we could join in your celebration!
Here's my project, which I hope you enjoy. I had two lumps of fun as I used Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland and Happy Haunting paper lines to make bridal shower party favors. Shelly, my new daughter-in-law, had a Mad Hatter-themed bridal shower - so you know I had to put my two cents in with some cards for guests. Here are just a sampling of the cards.
