Hello, Everyone! they say it's finally fall - though the temps here are still triple digit. However, cooler temperatures are on their way and following is Christmas - inspiring me to create!
Today I'm excited to share a Christmas card - infused with paper designed for fall using the newest paper collection available at We Are 3. I incorporated the beautiful Autumn Shadows and the fun A Cup of Sweetness by Mirtillamente on this card to celebrate my two favorite seasons. Mirtillamente is sponsoring this month's Kerst Christmas Challenge.
The monotone colors were perfect for this, and I used several of the paper patterns to digitally paper piece the hat, scarf, and teacup.
I cut several copies of the image and layered the pieces to provide dimension. Then I added a single poinsettia. This paper collection is perfect for fall, but the gorgeous patterns and monotones are so rich!
To add additional contrast and texture, I added a frame from Monica's Creative Room.
I'm especially thrilled today to be sharing a card for the Text Challenge - sharing a beautiful Christmas wreath from our sponsor, Mirtillamente. Meet Christmas Deco. I'm so proud of how my wreath turned out.
One good thing about finding time for my design team samples is that I do find the coloring soothing. Since I had nothing really pressing yesterday, I digitally colored Victoria Christmas from our sponsor, Mirtillamente.
I unearthed an old free digital paper set from Creative Fabrica (Tropical Patterns.) It has some green leaf patterned paper, so I created and layered a couple Christmas trees and added so branches for the Kerst Christmas Challenge.
I can hardly believe it's time for the September Challenge at the Kerst Christmas Challenge. I have enjoyed every minute being on this team. Our September theme is Bling, and I made a card using the gorgeous Wisna Xmas available here on the Mirtillamente Craft Shop.
It's the beginning of May, and you know what that means. New Progressive Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz. Spring is here, and I'm thrilled to be showcasing Charming Asters. The flowers are pre-colored, but I colored the cute freebie digitally. I used We Are 3's Really Simple for the background, which really made the Asters pop. The matting is Alcohol Splashes for the matting. I added the freebie to the frame and called it done.
