Happy Thanksgiving!

Just trying to sneak in a few layouts that I created Monday at a friend's crop - I haven't been crafting much lately...or finding the time to share what crafting I have snuck in.  I found the leaves and tags in my stash - Woo Hoo!

Here is a card inspired by the card Susan shared with us during Susan's Scrap Club class.  The card was totally fab and super easy.

Celebrate Autumn with Paper Ala Mode

For today's card, I combined two Fred She Said images to create an Autumn Scene for this week's Paper Ala Mode challenge.  The images are Pumpkins and Sunflowers and Just Emma - both from our sponsor, Fred She Said.  The patterned papers are from We Are 3 - Holiday Letters and Shabby.  I used sequins waste to finish off my card - I love the effect it has.

                    

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper Challenge

This is the card I made for today's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast. I am using papers from my stash, including the beautiful Sunflower Collection from We Are 3.

Autumn Time

We Are 3 has so many beautiful digital papers to prick from - but I'm still kind of hooked on autumn cards.  This card features the Pumpkin Delight digital paper collection.  After printing the paper, I used my Eclips to cut the Maple Leaf Frame from SVG Cuts.  I finished the card off with a sentiment from Autumn Sentiments from We Are 3.

        

Pumpkin Delight

To create the background for today's card, I took a sheet from We Are 3's August Release Pumpkin Delight - increased it's size, copied it, and rotated it so the two borders were together. To bring it together, I also used a piece of that doubled border for the strip on top. I added a strip of pumpkins, matted, added a sentiment - simple card with a lot of bang for the buck.

Scrap the Day Away

So are you all enjoying the outrageous weather.  I know my friends in Texas aren't - our thoughts are with you all.  Here we are experiencing temps below normal this year.  Personally, while I am in love with this weather - I still like to stay inside and play - and what better thing to do that some cards using all my scraps!

The Sunflower is cut from Sunflower Girl from 2 Cute Ink. The sentiment is from Brittish Designs.

Today I made another basic card with a simple image.  I used Simply Boy Bear from Kadoodle Bug Designs and Thanksgiving Fading Word Art from Brittish Designs.

Paper Scraps Cards

Hi, All!

I have more Thanksgiving cards today.

I wanted to test myself to see if I possibly would be able to use up some non-traditional scraps that I had.  Generally speaking, I'm happy with the results.  

Sometimes it's fun to experiment by only using a limited amount of supplies.  It's a great way to expand those artistic skills.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...that's what this Cute Turkey is saying.  This little guy is such a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving with all of our friends and family.

Anything Fall - Miriam's Crafting Challenge

Hi Everyone,

I have something especially fun to share today! For Miriam's Crafting Monthly Challenge, I'm entering my favorite fall project - paper cornucopias filled with fall flowers. The cornucopia was cut using an .svg file from SVGCuts.com.  They are so cute...I couldn't stop making them! (The pictures really don't do them justice.)  I intended to make three....and I believe at one time or another there have been a dozen sitting on my kitchen table.  Quick & easy hostess gift!
