Zoom Card Class with Diane Porrazzo

Last night I crashed a card class with Diane Porrazzo - Stampin' Up and Creative Memories consultant. You see, my email skimming skills leave much to be desired, and I was a day late. But Diane let me sit in (thank you for that), and I always have supplies around....so improvised following Diane's basic designs.

This was my favorite.  The background is cut from some Paper Studio's Deck the Halls with Chalk.  Woo Hoo!  I added poinsettias that I colored digitally and added a sentiment from my stash.  Finished!  I also made the cards below - not as nice as Diane's, though.

Festive Friday Challenge - Christmas

My cards are very simple using the new Snowflakes set from We Are 3. I cut them in circle from with my Eclips. They are popped up on simple cards using papers from Honeycomb and Snowglobes - both We Are 3. Went together really quickly, but still beautiful Christmas cards - or winter note cards.

                  

Power Poppy Poinsettia Digital Stamp

For this Christmas gift bag, I chose Power Poppy's Poinsettia for a focal point. Isn't this digital beautiful? It's colored with Gimp, and I Print 2 Cut both the flower and leaf - then scrunched them up to add more dimension.

Merry Christmas!

Here it is - a favorite time of year - Christmas in July! What I have to share today is an ATC made for two challenges - Power Poppy's Christmas in July and an ATC challenge for Sizzix Eclips Users.

So I chose many images to color for Christmas in July. The fireplace background is from Merry Christmas Stamps (Emily Peterson) - size adjusted to 2.5 x 3.5 for the ATC. Then I colored up some rectangles to act as my "bricks." I adorned the fireplace mantel with Hollyberries (Power Poppy) and Vintage Stockings (Miss Kate Cuttables). The stocking was pre-colored - I added some shading. I finished off the ATC with Overstuffed Santa (Dan Moose). Then everything was Print 2 Cut with my Eclips. (#eclipsecalmaker)  I love the dimension of my ATC.

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper #648

I made this layout for this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers. I just LOVE when a layout turns out as I imagined...this turned out to be one of my favorites. The patterned paper in the background and matting is from the Look Up collection - as well as the patterns used on the banner (subtle, but from that same collection).

Christmas Card for December Release - and single-layer technique.

Don't you just hate it when you have a great idea for a card with individual digital elements - but no time to cut out each element? Well, my dear friends, just put all those elements together to make an unbelievably GORGEOUS single-layer image! For my image, I used Winter Serenity for the background - complete with deer. I added Hipster Snowman - and his newest friend, Bunny (from the December Release). Simply add a sentiment - this sentiment from the Sending You collection. Click below to add any of these elements to your Etsy cart! Then I just added some matting. Simple, quick, and pretty cute, I think. I did all my work using my word processing program (Word) - and this allows you to print more than one a page with some simple Copy and Paste.
