Grandson - Hanging Out at the Mall

Hello, Everyone!  I hope you're enjoying your Monday.  I would like to share a layout I did for a picture of my grandson riding a truck at the mall.  Of course, as you know, I can't share photos of the grands.

I cut - I mean tore - the left two panels from We Are 3's Vintage Carnival.  Very quick and simple layout - that's what I've been shooting for lately as I am so behind in my scrapbooking.

Featured Stamper Challenge

Hello, Everyone!  Hope you are all enjoying the weather wherever you are!  We are having great weather -as usual.  Today I found a little time to squeeze in a Christmas card for the fun challenge at Splitcoast Stampers - Featured Stamper #575.  Check out  their Featured Stamper challenge - one member picked weekly and you can choose one of their cards to case.  No prizes - but I love seeing everyone's interpretation.  Here is my card.

I cut these lovely poinsettias from Pointy Poinsettias by Fred She Said.  The background is from the Outer Space collection by We Are 3.

Wedding Album

My project today is another layout for my wedding album.

I used DSE Neapolitan digital paper for the background.  I cut flowers from the Josephine Clematis collection from Doodle Pantry.

Happy, Happy Christmas!

Hello, Everyone!  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!!  Can you believe it....2nd post today?  I wanted to share samples using more of the Celebrate collection - remember the sale price is 80 cents - good only through the 15th!  So I had this idea in my head of coloring snowflakes using the metallic pattern to give kind of an embossed effect.  After paper piecing those snowflakes digitally, they were more beautiful than even in my head.  I then layered those metallic snowflakes over ... wait for it! Paper from the OUTER SPACE collection.  Yes, my background is full of craters.  I added Stickles to most of the craters - and voila!  A shimmery fun Christmas card!  I finished it off with some glittered matting and one last metallic snowflake.

Then I got to wondering...what would the same snowflakes look like if I used a Confetti pattern.  So I paper pieced digitally the snowflakes with the green confetti.  OMG - I'm telling you the photo does not do these snowflakes justice!  But they have an almost holographic look!  I used the Galaxy pattern from the same - wait for it!  OUTERSPACE collection.  The results look like small snowflakes among the holographic snowflakes.

Hello, Everyone!  Hope you're having a fantastic week!  Beautiful weather here in Sunny Arizona!  Here is a card I made using We Are 3 papers.  The center panel is from a new paper collection called Celebrate - all kinds of "confetti" printed papers - FUN!  And the price is only 80 cents until the 15th!  In fact - all We Are 3 digitals are 20% off until the 15th! The design is inspired by Featured Stamper #574 at Splitcoast Stampers.

I started with a white base.  The pink mats are from We Are 3's Back to Basics Collection.  The top panel is from the Bird's View Collection.  The Pink dotted border is from the Exotic Seaside Collection, and the center panel is from the new Celebrate Collection.  I added a fun digital image - Beachball Bear from Kadoodle Bug, along with a sentiment from We Are 3's Birthday Wishes Sentiment Collection.

This sweet card featuring the Sweet Sounds paper collection is simply fun!  I simply adore the colors and the use of a musical theme.  And those roses!  They just make me smile!

 

Bagpipe Love

Hello, Everyone!  Happy Sunday!!  I hope you're having a great day!  As always, it's a gorgeous day here in Southern Arizona.  It's 26 years today since I first visited this place - and this beautiful weather and the mountains I can see from this desk - the reason I'm here now.  Here's a simple wedding layout.

I used digital papers from We Are 3 - Stamping Studio Welcome.  All three beige layers are the same pattern - different sizes - for a tone-on-tone appearance.

Introducing Hello - February Release

What a great way to kick off a new month! We Are 3's new release is called Hello. I hope you are as excited as I am to create with it!

I love how fun this collection is.  It combines really wonderful colors.  It also has three different frame sheets that you can pair with the zig-zag designs...perfect for using on everything from cards to gift tags.

You Make My Heart Smile!

Hi, Everyone!  I wanted to share this simple layout I made for a challenge at Power Poppy - Hues to Use.  This challenge runs through Monday, so come on and join the fun and take advantage and get a Valentine or two made!  I chose, however, to use the colors in a layout.  For those that follow me - I have three pages left in the family scrapbooks.  I can see the light!!!!  LOL!

For this layout, I used paper from the Miss Daisy Collection (We Are 3) for the background.  The clouds paper is from the Fantasy Collection (We Are 3).  I added Lego Bricks (Paper 4 Download) to add a little more red to the layout.  The flowers are from Power Poppy - Climbing Clematis.  I had fun putting this layout together - and the whole time planning similar simple layouts for the rest of my family scrapbook pages!

 

More We Are 3 Content Warning! LOL!

Here is another layout.  I'm way behind in my scrapbooking (I have seven albums going right now) - so I'm trying to keep them very simple in design and construction, and yet be fun at the same time.  Colors in the Little Star paper collection definitely help!

And, of course, the subject of my layout?  My grandson enjoying the new chair from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas.

Wild About Kerst

It seems like a while since I've participated in a challenge - but today I'm sharing with Kerst Christmas.  We Are 3 is sponsoring Kerst Christmas for February and has created wonderful papers and images with Kerst in mind - Woodland Christmas and Woodland Hearts.  Here's my first card made with these. 

The colors are soothing and cheerful.  I picked the bunny to use for this card, adding a little Holly Leaf as well.

Today, a layout using the simply fun Little Star papers, In Stitches overlay, and some cute Dinosaur Designs from Love SVG.

                       

All Heart

The Paper Ala Mode challenge this week is hearts.  This little character from Sandra Caudwell is rather cute.  The design is simple and can be used for a variety of occasions.

Even this card in all its pink glory could be used for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, a new baby girl, or just because for your granddaughter.  I'm sure this card would always be a hit.

Hello Digital Papers

Hello digital papers is a new We Are 3 collection that is super versatile.

Maybe you see a theme here with the diagonal patterns....yes, these colors in the same pattern all work well together.  Even more fun, print them in different sizes and some diagonally, making them even more fun to pair together for lots of layers!

Also new this month is the Birthday Wishes set that includes four birthday sentiments!  I love these simple sentiments and have loved making them more fun by changing colors using GIMP or Word.  Adding a neutral border, I was able to easily cut the sentiment using my Sizzix Eclips.

Embellishments on this card include We Are 3's Butterfly Overlay from the Dreamy Creamy collection.  They can be layered on any paper for a sweet effect.

                                      

Just Go For It

When I saw this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch, it just had to be a layout!  It's so simple - yet such fun to make with nice bright Little Star papers (We Are 3).  I wish I could show you the layout with my grandson's pic - unfortunately, that can't be shared.

February Release: Sweet Sounds and Birthday Wishes
