An Elisabeth Bell Freebie

This week's freebie from Elisabeth Bell is Winter Emma with Kitty. I had a design in mind, but when I went to make it, I had printed my image too large. Then although I have miles and piles of papers, it was difficult to fin some that matched my tag colors. Oh, well. I still like and enjoyed a relaxing evening of coloring Emma and her Kitty.

I was so happy to use Winter Emma from Elisabeth Bell. I even stepped out of my comfort zone and give her pink hair. Thanks so much, Elisbeth!

Power Poppy Creative Confetti All You Need is Love Challenge

This week at Power Poppy, Julie shared a fabulous treat box. Although you can't see my entire box in the pic, it turned out kind of neat. I really love how the ribbon comes out of the top, adding a little something, as well as serving a function. For the Creative Confetti Challenge, we were to create a project for someone we need to share a little love with. This was easy for me, as I needed a little something for a good friend. I added a bunch of flower (Thoughts and Prayers Box from Bugaboo). Be sure to check out Creative Confetti to see other fabulous cards and projects. SALSA Bag Swap and Special Wishes

This bag was decorated for our local SALSA Bag Swap (Birthday Themed) for the month of February. I forced myself to get the bag decorated early in order to take advantage of the challenge at Eclips Users Group as well. For the birthday theme, I added a sentiment from the Special Wishes collection at We Are 3.

Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge

This week at Featured Stamper, a fabulous crafter is featured - Cookie Lady. For the Featured Stamper Challenge, we are to pick a card from her gallery and CASE it. I wanted to use my stash, so I really love that Cookie Lady had some simple designs. When I look at it, I took some leeway in casing the original design - a much larger circle and sentiment. Groundhog by Kadoodle Bug

I needed something quick and easy for Groundhog's Day, so decided to go with an Eclipse card. Quick and Easy design - though a bit tedious to assemble. I always worry most about sneezing and my little pieces flying all over the room! The greeting is cut with my Eclips. The adorable groundhog is from Kadoodle Bug (precolored).

Progressive Freebie

The beginning of each month is fun - the beginning of a new Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz.

This card was created for the Progressive Freebie Challenge for February. I'm so thrilled to finally be able to color hair to look somewhat realistic. The image is Ava from Di's Digis. For papers, I used We Are 3's Snowmen paper collection.

Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge

Merry Christmas to you all! Well, the season is over - and I finally have my decorations stored. Now, what better time to get started on next year's cards? This week at Power Poppy, the Creative Confetti challenge is a sketch challenge. I decided to use the Hollyberries. I used soft blues and We Are 3's January release, Snowmen paper collection.

Shore Do Miss You - the Featured Stamper Challenge

This week's Featured Stamper is Love Ribbons - I chose this card to case. Ooooo, Fun! It just so happened that I have an old freebie from Kadoodle Bug that would be perfect for a case - Seashell Cricket. I also used We Are 3 Christmas Magic paper for the "water" and sequins for bubbles.

Other stampers did an amazing job with this challenge, and it's fun.  So come and play along.

We Are 3 Look Up Layout

To be honest, I wasn't all that excited about our first snowfall this year because I moved to Arizona to live in the desert!  I used We Are 3's Look Up paper collection for my backgrounds.

Well, I've got to say that once I heard the neighbor kids giggling as the played in the snow, my spirits lifted - and this also turned out to be a favorite layout.  Pretty simple.  I added some old distressed alphabet stickers in my stash.  I dug into my Christmas stash for a snowflake.  Cool, huh?  (No pun intended.)  Be sure to pop over to the We Are 3 shop to see all the fabulous and creative papers Bonnie creates.

Pineapple Bouquet - We Are 3

Pineapple Bouquet is probably one of my favorite digital images - but before now, I haven't taken the time to color it. You can find the image at We Are 3.

My incentive for coloring this image today is the current Creative Confetti Challenge at Power Poppy - to use a fruity image. I had to make a digital card, as my printer is out of commission - hopefully the part will be in this weekend....and praying even more that I'll be able to figure out how to exchange parts! I'm having withdrawal symptoms here without a printer and the ability to make cards. I need a card for my neighbor's birthday and ended up sending the image to Walmart for printing. Will be interesting to see how that turns out!

The Outlawz Color Challenge

My printer needs a part that won't be in for another week or two, so digging into my stash for a challenge or two.  This is a combination of Look Up paper and a Darice embossing folder.  The Look Up pattern is from We Are 3.  The challenge is a Color Challenge at The Outlawz using a Bingo card.  My diagonal line calls for brightly-colored sequins and pink swiss dot ribbon.  I really love how it turned out.

The SALSA Gift Bag Swap

This month at our local SALSA group, we are beginning a gift-bag swap - this month's theme is Hearts Galore. I enjoyed making this gift bag and am pretty pleased with the results.
