This evening I joined Meggan and Tessa for a Scrapbook Power Hour - they shared two adorable layouts.
This has been a busy week - so not sure when I'll get the second layout completed.

Here's a gift card holder. I used paper from the Be Bold Be Bright pack from Paper Studio. I added a glittered star (Piccolo glitter is so shiny!)
I created this for the Ecal Users Group Gift Card Holder Challenge.Last weekend's monthly virtual crop at Creative Memories is always open to a few different interpretations.
Today there's a new challenge at Paper Ala Mode. The theme is "Christmas." Indeed! The Dreamy Creamy collection is particularly special for Christmas.
I wanted to make a simple card for my hubby for his birthday - two weeks early - and was inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.
It's a single-layer card created digitally. The Birthday Surprise? Tickets to a Red Wings game.
The adorable papers are Bumble Bee. I used a sentiment from Birthday Wishes for my title.
I've fallen totally in love with the Bumblebee papers at We Are 3. They're such magical colors. Please visit the We Are 3 Facebook Page to see more inspiration from the Design Team.I created this layout for the Creative Memories Virtual Crop last weekend.
This layout was for the November Virtual Crop at Creative Memories. The fun papers are called Paris Cafe.
I usually take a shortcut when I see a sketch with a "brick" element. Today, though, I actually cut out each of the bricks with my Eclips and placed them. It truly is a nicer look. I then embellished with a stocking and Santa - both from We Are 3.
There's new paper with coordinating printables at We Are 3 - Merry Little Christmas.
The collections have four fun images that lend themselves to easy Christmas card making - for this card I chose the cute penguin. He's popped up against the coordinating penguin-patterned paper, and I just love how quick and easy this was. I used Cactus Thoughts for my sentiment.I'm so excited to be participating in an exciting challenge for Ecal Users. I am so happy to be showcasing Tag #10 now.
The candle and holly image is colored digitally. The background is a lattice pattern from Monica's Creative Room that I shrunk - I didn't resize it; I added a new smaller frame.I chose the sweet Cactuses Again and Again to embellish this card. Aren't they just precious? The papers are from the fabulous Paper Studio paper pack The Shoppe on the Square paper pack from Hobby Lobby.
Cactuses Again and Again are pre-colored. They are cut with my Eclips and popped atop the card layers. At the last Snippy Scrappers Crop, we had a card workshop inspired by Meggan and Tessa. I think I've become a huge fan of them, so I CASEd the cards using a different set of papers. I finally chose Paper Studio's The Shoppe on the Square. I used Cactuses Again and Again from the Hungry JPEG for my embellishments - perfect for a hostess gift here in Arizona.
Here I am today with a new challenge at Paper Ala Mode for The Outlawz. I made a treat box with two products of We Are 3's Autumn sets - Howdy Autumn and Harvest. These are just perfect for a Thanksgiving dinner favor.
The new Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz has a digi stamp from Sheepski Stamps - Claudia's Plant.
The base is scalloped using My Scrap Chick's Heart Square Frame. The doily is an Aztec Monogram Frame (Love SVG), and the fabulous Magical Gel Print background is from We Are 3.
The We Are 3 Design Team projects run the gamut, so be sure to stop by the Facebook page for fabulous inspiration - and please come play along at The Outlawz. See you there!
I'm so excited to finally create a layout that uses the golf embellishments I've been hoarding. I used papers from Great Graphics. The layout is inspired by a Virtual Crop Sketch Challenge at SG Scrap Squad. When I decided to use the triangles for the layered design, I didn't realize they would actually look like the greens flags. Had I thought of that, I would have added the 18 flag numbers to the flags.
