And Yet Another challenge

I miss blogs - and blog hops - and sharing our work on blogs where they would be seen.  I loved to see blogs of other scrappers and admire their work.  I loved blog hops (and all the goodies I won).  The only challenges I consistently see now are eCal and Kerst Christmas (because I'm a designer).  I bugged Jan, moderator at the eCal page,  for a long time to have a bag challenge.  Finally she did - and I almost missed it being busy with other projects.  But I managed to get in at the last minute - yeah me!  I decided to give it a go at the last minute, and this is what I made.

Vixen with Sheepski Designs

 Welcome, November!

The delicious deer, Vixen,  comes from the Kerst Christmas Challenge sponsor, Sheepski Designs.

I started with a Traci Reed patterned paper (All is Calm) that I love for this challenge - include trees.  I decided to use one pattern in two different sizes.

I couldn't resist adding an adorable frame and border, so I added the Intricate Star Frame and Border from Monica's Creative Room.

I used the inside sentiment from We Are 3's Special Delivery.

A Christmas Tag Using Christmas Anna with Last-Minute Manda

Today I'm sharing a bit of inspiration using Christmas Anna.  This digital image set is amazing.  It brings a small taste of Ann in all her Christmas finery.  I love this particular image - Anna is Christmas perfection!  What better way to showcase Anna than to create a simple package topper.

This week I embraced fall and added some buffalo plaid to my nails (yes, my sister corrected me by informing me buffalo plaid is winter - not fall!  LOL!)  My nails inspired me to dress Ann in this winter favorite.

Once I finished digitally coloring Anna, it was a joy to create my topper.  I started with a frame from Monica's Creative room - digitally paper pieced with a pattern from the Ho, Ho, Ho collection (We Are 3).  I used a sentiment from We Are 3's Special Delivery set.

This was a great way to combine some of my favorites to adorn Christmas packages with the beautiful buffalo-plaid themed wrapping paper I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year.
