WOW, I was so excited when I found the "Party My Crib" SVG from Xpressions Creative - I looked at a lot of SVGs trying to decide if I should just design my own or go for something not truly creative. This SVG, though, is fun and offers a lot of opportunity to embellish. So, this turned out to be a fun, but inexpensive, baby shower gift. The plaque was under $3 - and I was able to use scraps for all the vinyl. (The SVG was $1.25 - it will get lots of use!)

Making a Splash for Paper Ala Mode
Both the patterned paper and the birdie are from We Are 3 - April Showers and Birdie's Boots. LOVE the raindrops because it is actually an overlay and can be used over other paper colors and patterns for different looks. This is a card celebrating Splashes for The Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz.

SALSA Gift Bag Swap
I enjoy the gift bag swap we have each month at our local papercrafting group, SALSA. For next month, I chose At The Beach to make flowers and a heart, and I really love how it turned out. I think it needs a sentiment on the heart, but I feared limiting the bags use by adding my own sentiment - hopefully, the recipient will add her own sentiment later.

Bless You!
Cute designer packs of facial tissue make fun little gifts, so I decided to take it one step further and make a Pocket Tissue Holder. This idea can be personalized fun any time of year - make fun party favors, or stocking stuffers at Christmas, or Get Well gifts. Instructions are available HERE at Splitcoast Stampers.

Beary Baby Angel inspired by Featured Stamper
When I saw this card in this week's Featured Stamper gallery, I thought, "Nice and easy." But then finding a scene I liked, I had second thoughts. Instead of a fun scene, I used Beary Baby Angel from Di Gigi.

Onesies with a Tutu
Good Morning, Everyone! For my project today, I made some onesies for my husband's cousin's baby shower. While checking out favorite onesies online, I fell in love with the saying "My Little Black Dress." So I started searching for black onesies and a little black tutu. I actually found the printed onesie for cheaper than I could make it! But I wanted to do more and use that little tutu for more than three months. So I bought a couple more onesies to personalize to go with the tutu so now that tutu will go one for a year.
For the second onesie, I made this and hope Grandpa gets a kick out of it.
For the first onesie, I used Princess Crown from Miss Kate Cuttables. This was not planned, but I love how when you look quickly, it looks like "Princess Short." This is my first "cutout" technique - not sure why my crowns didn't match up...ooops.
For the second onesie, I made this and hope Grandpa gets a kick out of it.

Layering a Digital Image
It's a good day to be an Outlawz fan. Today is Saturday and we have a new challenge for you at Paper Ala Mode. For my sample, I used Happy Mother's Day to Ewe, which can be purchased from Sasayaki Glitter.
There are so many directions you can go when it comes to meeting our theme - Something New. I used these little lambs to welcome "new" babies.
For this image, I wanted to keep baby colors, so I shaded the ewe in baby blue. The stamp has the flowers in the background, so I first printed the entire digital stamp on my background chevron paper. I printed two extra copies of the image, fussy cut and embossed the fluffy parts on one, just fussy cutting the second - with these layers, I was able to add the blue layer behind my image. I finished the card off with some glittered ears and a sentiment.

Sketch Challenge at Viva La Verve
Viva La Verve's Sketch Challenge provides a quick and easy template to use for a card. It serves as a base for creating a simple card or those more elaborate.
I added to the fun by seeing if I can use this template using only ONE sheet of cardstock! I was personally blown away by the results. A while back I bought a Craft Smith paper pack (Gradients) on sale for next to nothing at Michael's. The gradient colors provide somewhat of a tone-on-tone look - which I love! This card was made using one sheet of cardstock (except for leaves). I think it would make a wonderful baby card or Mother's Day card...this paper pack is a winner in my book!

Playful Patterns
The current challenge at Use Your Stuff #207 to use three or more patterns inspired this layout - mixing and matching patterns to create a fun way to showcase a single photo. The colors I chose go with the rest of Nathan's book (this is Page 9) - a variety of blues to welcome Nathan in March. The patterned papers I used for this layout include Daily Junque - Numbers (Pink Paislee), Treasure - Divine (Authentique), and Mother Goose (Authentique).

SALSA - Itty Bitty Card Exchange
Good Day, Everyone!
So excited to be returning to one of Tucson's scrappin' groups - SALSA...I've been off for vacationing and playing nursemaid to my husband and his new knee. It's going to be great to finally return and visit my scrappin' friends! Each month we have a themed card exchange - this month's theme is Itty Bitty. So I made four itty-bitty cards - 2" square - with itty-bitty embellishments that have been in my stash for years...thanks to my hoarding.

Onesie Manie
Morning, All!
Oh my word! My intentions of posting every day just is not happening. I’m determined to post catch up soon! Wish me luck! :)
For today’s project, I stepped out of my comfort zone. For my daughter's baby shower, she sent out onesies with invites - and guests are asked to decorate the onesie. So here is what my new grandson (who will be living in Michigan) will be wearing - thinking this may be an annual birthday gift....a new shirt every year. :D
