Starfish Wishes

Here's a little bookmark I made using the fabulous Nautical collection, just one of the amazing digital paper collections available in We Are 3's Etsy shop.  I added a sentiment from the Mermaid Wishes set.

I added the Nautical frame to the top of the bookmark to slip over the pages to stay in place and added some border stickers on the bottom edge.

The bookmark shape is a design by Dreaming Tree.

Paper Ala Mode Splash of Pink

Happy Saturday! It's time for another Paper Ala Mode Challenge - this week our theme is A Splash of Pink - the Design Team is using Sweetheart papers, Darcy's Florals, and Friendship sentiments. I also used Seaside Anchor.  You must drop by the Paper Ala Mode Challenge to see creative cards from the design team. Super pretty! My card is inspired by the current Wednesday Sketch Challenge - flipped the sketch horizontally.

Neebish Subway Art

Today's project features my first vinyl project (drum roll here).  I was inspired by the current challenge at Sizzix eClips and eCal Users Group - using Subway Art.  I made this for my sister who lives on a small island in Michigan.

A Nautical Birthday Card

This card was so quick and easy to make (provided you have mini safety pins available).  You print and cut the bobbers - part of the July release from We Are 3 (Seaside Bobbers).  The papers are Nautical from We Are 3.  I used a fishing pole from Father's Day Fun for accents.
Please check out the wonderful papers and digital elements at We Are 3.

Quick and Easy Nautical Card

My turn at We Are 3 using the July release papers and elements - I wanted to make something quick and easy.  This one is for those of us who are experiencing record-breaking temps and picked THIS SUMMER to not visit Michigan.  Just a little reminder - It's Cooler by the Lake!

Life is Short

My turn to share a sample over at We Are 3.  With my last name being Short, I love "Life is Short . . ." quips.  So here's one for the ladies - Life is Short!  Buy the Shoes!  Also fun for the Challenge #41 at Naughty or Nice - If the Shoe Fits.

Hey Sailor and Mojo Monday

I hope you are having a wonderful week and creating beautiful things. Today's share is inspired by Mojo Monday #486...using Table Scraps. I've had this nautical paper pack for years - this sketch was perfect for letting me take advantage of its beautiful designs.

Quick, Simple Neebish Card

I promised cards for my Neebish Island family and friends - and could not find my mojo!  Finally, three nautical-themed sheets of cardstock appeared in my scrap stash - and Apex Designs gave this great free anchor yesterday - back to having fun!  Should be able to knock a lot of cards out today.  :D

Our Buccaneer's Turning Two!

I am proud of this card!  I am excited to watch my first grandson turn two years old - his mom is planning an adventurous party with a pirate theme.  The pop-up template is from Robert Sabuda - whom I consider the pop-up king...I first purchased one of his books about ten years before I ever thought of papercrafting.

Stay Anchored

This brilliant journal card by DCWV is elegantly beautiful!  I used the Hey Sailor stack to make this clean and simple card.  Wow, Wow!

Father's Day and Sailboats

Last night I had a little more time to spend at my craft table, so decided to make something with the paper-piecing Sailboat file from Miss Kate Cuttables. It was fun to get away from the traditional nautical colors.

Happy Tuesday, All!

Today I decided to do something quick and easy.  In this case, just some simple layers and a sailboat from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Take a look at one of my most recent projects....block name for my first grandchild, Adrian. His room will have a nautical theme - hope this adds a little extra touch.
