January Release - Winter Sunshine and WOW Snowman

For today's card, I used the digital stamp Wow Snowman and digital papers Winter Sunshine - both from We Are 3. I added a Christmas tree freebie from Scraps of Mind.  For the background, I shrunk Blue Snowflakes to provide me with a small pattern of snowflakes.  Next I printed a larger version of Blue Snowflakes for the background circle - the fun little snowflakes were cut separately, glittered up, and popped up.  I used Primary Snowflakes to pattern the snowman's hat and scarf.

Ball Pit

Give me smiles - especially grandson smiles....and lots of bright colors!  Unfortunately, I can't share my grandson's photo - but for this layout, he is all smiles as he's relaxing in the ball pit we gave him for his birthday.

Twisted Pop-Up Card

Hello! If you love fun folds, then I think you are going to absolutely adore Splitcoast Stampers tutorial for a Twisted Pop-Up Card! I used the wonderful digital stamp Grow Old 4 Square and Toasty Warm Neutral patterned digital papers.  I especially love how the four squares of the Grow Old stamp fits perfectly on the inside pop-up. I adorned the flowers with pink bows.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

January Release - Toasty Warm Collection

I'd like to share a card I made with the amazing January release from We Are 3 - the Toasty Warm Neutral Collection.  It may be difficult to see in this photo, but the Toasty Warm Collections are a knitted sweater design - appropriately named Toasty Warm.  I love the knitted look on the bird's beanie.  The bird is from the Scents of Christmas Collection - Miss Daisy Stamps/We Are 3.  The sentiment is from Faery Ink.

This is the final page of my first personal scrapbook.  The book is just the beginning of my memories of train excursions I've taken...with this first page commemorating my hour as a train engineer on the 1225 - the train immortalized in the move The Polar Express.  The layout is based on the Sketch Challenge #258 at Sketches in Thyme.

We Are 3 with Kit and Clowder - Freebie

Digital papers are such a fun way to bring your cards to life.  Today I am sharing a card using We Are 3's Loving Winter digital papers.  These papers make it easy to use because you can select and print only the papers you need - rather than purchasing an entire paper pack that adds to your stash.  You can also vary the size of the paper patterns to fit your needs.  With a little bit of practice, you can achieve great results.  Today's card is a shadowbox card framing a pretty deer.  The photo does not do this card justice, unfortunately - the snowflakes, glitter, and bling frame this deer beautifully - with Bits of my Heart in the background.

Sympathy Card

Hi, Everyone!  Today I have a card I created using the AMAZING Climbing Clematis (Power Poppy).  I just love these flowers.  I used some Tattered and Worn Paper Collection (Paper Studio) for the papers.  This is a nice card to let someone know you are thinking of them.

Pretty Petals 1

Today's card is one I truly felt creative making - even though I was casing a card from the Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.  I love how her card was a simple card to case - but using Inspirational digital papers from We Are 3 and Pretty Petals 1 from Miss Daisy - I just love how they all fell together.  And the colors of these papers?  Dreamy!

Merry Christmas from the Elf

Think of all the simple, fun things you can create with ribbon!  Really Reasonable Ribbon's current challenge #155 is Anything Goes.  For a scrappin' Christmas gift swap, I received an embossing folder with great witch's feet.  Probably because I was in the midst of making Christmas cards, I started seeing elve's feet....so here is my card with elve's feet and silky skirt ruffle made from ribbon.  Also on my to-do list are princess feet and bride's feet.

Use an Animal with Pattie's Creations

Happy New Year, Scrappers!  I hope you had a relaxing and wonderful first week in 2017. 

To create today's card, I decided to use digi paper from Holiday Thank You (We Are 3).  I then added a glittered deer and Christmas Lights (Pattie's Creations).  Although all these elements are leftover scraps, the mix gives me a beautiful card.

Merry Christmas with the Polar Express

Happy, Happy New Year, Scrappers!  It's January 5 - but I'm still in the Christmas mood with my tree up and the Polar Express beneath it!  I love this photo of my cousin and his gorgeous smile as he begins the story of the Polar Express!  I was inspired by the current challenge at Let's Get Sketchy.  I turned their sketch upside down.  I think scrapping the Polar Express is a great way to end my holidays!  Let's take a look at this holiday creation.

Elphie the Elephant by Miss Daisy Stamps

I have a cute layout using a cute digital from Miss Daisy Stamps - Elphie the Elephant. I love how he will always be in my grandson's scrapbook to remind him of fun times he had as a toddler - Elphie looks fantastic watching over my grandson!

January First Release Digital Papers

It's always a fun day at We Are 3 - Here is a peek at We Are 3's Toasty Warm Collection.  Enjoy this card idea using the blues and pinks - I really like the snowflake background.  It may be difficult to see in the photo, but the papers have a warm knitted-sweater pattern.  I enlarged two wonderful snowflakes from the patterned paper and blinged them up with glitter and pearls - layered with foam tape and embllished the center of the snowflake with a single gem.
