I'm feeling bad because I'm so behind on my scrapbooking - but getting back in the groove this weekend. For this layout, I'm using paper from Little Star and a sentiment from the Happiness set - all from We Are 3.

The Outlawz - Red String

What cuteness Starz Stamps has added to the already wonderful challenge - Freebie Progressive. Be sure to visit The Outlawz, and be prepared to be amazed. I had a hard time coloring the image at first - I generally need more structure. But after keeping at it, I'm pretty happy with the results. Once I finished, I decided I wanted just a simple card. It turned out to be too simple - LOL! So I added a small sentiment and some hearts. The sentiment is computer generated. Hope you play along with our challenge....be sure to check it out for more inspiration.

Sending You Love

At We Are 3, we have two new Mermaid releases - Seaside Mermaid and Mermaid Wishes. I used the sweet precolored Mermaid image. I flipped the image for my shaped card. She's resting in flowers cut from Cute Halloween. It's difficult to see in the photo, but the bottom border is from Vintage Carnival. The sentiment is from Mermaid Wishes.

                                                         

We Are 3 Hibernate

This basket is Bushel Basket by Dreaming Tree, and I used Papa Bear from Design Bundles, along with a sentiment from Hibernate by We Are 3. The beautiful paisley pattern is Howdy Autumn by We Are 3. This would be a fun little gift, filled with candy, for a shut-in during this Coronovirus Quarantine.

 

Creative Confetti Challenge

This week's Creative Confetti Challenge is Taking Cues - meaning Color Cues. Waiter, There's a Parakeet in my Teacup is from Power Poppy, the patterned papers from We Are 3.

My Spring Card for We Are 3

These papers from Margaret's Irises were laying on my messy desk - just begging to be used. I added a Birdie's Boots and a new Umbrella, along with one of Margaret's frames.

                                                                     

Happy Birthday!

When I printed these papers from Plaids Stripes Neutral, I was inspired by a soft, almost felt texture the papers took on. I couldn't resist adding embellishments that made me think of cool weather and Cardinals - memories from my Michigan home. I started with layering three different papers from the collection. Then I dipped into my stash. I added a bit of texture with a piece of burlap. I added a cardinal and a branch from my stash.  The sentiment is also from We Are 3 - Number Birthday.

  

   

Apple Delight

Here is my attempt to turn a gingerbread house into a "summer cottage." I thought papers from Apple Delight and Dotted Swiss were perfect to give this gingerbread house a touch of summer. Classic Square Frame

I love the look of My Scrap Chick's frames - so decided today to use paper from the Margaret's Irises collection to make a frame. Now - whether to embellish. I decided to leave it plain there's a certain elegance.

All the layers are popped - lots of dimension.

We Are 3 Margaret's Irises Release

Today's projects is a 3D project in paper - an iron from Creatieve Papier using the cool faux-embossed floral pattern in the Margaret's Irises collection. I added flowers from Miss Kate Cuttables for a fun spring look.

We Are 3's Iris Release

We Are 3 has released some darling new sets for a DT member's (Margaret Ashby) birthday. So many adorable Iris wreaths (Margaret's Wreaths) and matching papers (Margaret's Irises)!!!! I couldn't decide which frame to use first - so I chose two to use. I couldn't resist! The sentiments are from Think Spring and Holiday Birthdays.  I added a seriously adorable cat, and I added some Iris from Creative Fabrica for some added color - okay, not so much added color, but they were the only irises in my stash!

Paper Ala Mode Romantic Garden Challenge

The fun Paper Ala Mode challenge happens every other Saturday. This week's challenge is Romantic Garden. The "wall" on my card is cut from Romantic Garden collection (We Are 3). I just used plain white cardstock for my stairway - but it was too much.....so I added some contrasting trim. Then I added some fun "decorations" - a clock a wall hanging, We Are 3's Happiness Is, Puppy Dog, Garden Rose Basket, and Birthday Wishes set.

Sizzix Eclips Spring Tag Challenge

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! I made it to the end of the week with a tag every day! The theme for this challenge is Spring Tags - I've made tags or box/bag toppers - that I might use for gift giving.

Sizzix Eclips Users and Spring Tag Challenge

I love lacy doilies - so pretty. Here I made a 4" tag using a doily from Monica's Creative Room. The bird is I Love You from Kajsans. I added some pearls to finish it off.
