I am having way too much fun with my crafts lately, and this latest scrapbook layout is easily one of my new favorites!
This time, I decided to play around with a caricature of my
niece. I thought she would get such a kick out of seeing herself—and her
hilarious new best friend, Hojay (yes, the cactus!)—imagined as a comic book
strip.
I went with a vibrant, playful look for the backdrop, pairing
a bold blue-and-white chevron pattern with contrasting pale green and dark navy
cardstock to really make the cartoon pop. A few floral embellishments and a
"REMEMBER" banner later, and the page was complete.
I absolutely love how it turned out, and I can't wait to
show her.
