I'm using digital papers from We Are 3 for this layout - Nature Blends and Burlap Beach. For the Paper Ala Mode Challenge this week, I chose Cascading Hearts to use in my design. First designed the layout on the computer to make sure I got all my hearts in the right place.
How are you today? Today I'm sharing a very simple card - but beautiful because of the spectacular colors in We Are 3's digital papers. I love Spring Letters - the colors are truly exquisite that can be used for any occasion. Love We Are 3 digital papers!
I'm here today with a super fun Mother's Day gift using Dreaming Tree's Notecard Holder. I've posted the holders before - but today am showing the finished product with notecards to match. It was awesome to be creating with We Are 3's Dreamy Creamy Butterfly Overlay. The butterfly accents look fabulous. For Ashley's set, I used green (her favorite color). For Shelly's set, I used other papers from the Dreamy Creamy collection - including printing a Dreamy Creamy pattern on the actual notecards for fun. Looking back, I should have used Spring Brilliance Shredded Grass to make the notecards for Ashley.
Today I am sharing a totally digital card for the new challenge blog Digitally Made. It's amazing how much is out there now to create digital cards and layouts. This card is for my grandson's birthday - he wants a new lawn mower - of course, Grandma and Grandpa will oblige.
Papers used are from the Spring Brilliance Collection - We Are 3.
It's another beautiful week here in Sunny Sahuarita! So today's Table Scraps are some awesome southwest flowers left over from a class I taught many years ago. Today I thought they'd fit well on Atlantic Hearts' Sketch #209 - to be sent back to Michigan friends. I was inspired by the sketch (turned upside down) - though any resemblance might be a stretch now. LOL!
Happy Saturday! When I first saw the Dreamy Creamy Collection, I couldn't help but fall in love with the Dreamy Butterfly Overlay. I knew I wanted to play to see how I can use that overlay to fit a project just perfectly. I chose the latest free file from Dreaming Tree - Notepad Holder. Wanted more control as to where my butterflies landed, so played around with Print2Cut feature on my eClips - sized the paper and the butterflies - then moved my svg file around the butterflies to get them to print and cut in just the right spot. Voila! I love how it looks so much, on my way to make a few more for Mother's Day gifts. Think next I will try to resize the file to hold some of my cards - then make them to match. Be watching for them!
Afterthough! Trying to think of what I will put in the container for Mother's Day - my kids are not card senders, so cards would not be appreciated. My afterthought is fill it with my own created notepaper to match with butterflies. Can't wait to play!
Spring has sprung! Are you getting outside? I know I would find my brother-in-law on the lake during his free time - so today I'm sharing his birthday card. I used Pastel Burlap (We Are 3) for the background - love how it looks like jean materials.
Also found if using Color Correction on Word, you can make the "jean" look more or less distressed - kind of fun....but beware, tough to make a decision as to how your want your jeans to look! LOL! Here's just three examples of how one digital paper can have different looks with just a couple clicks on the mouse.
Good morning! Here today with a card using two of this month's We Are 3 Releases - Floral Expressions and Pastel Burlap, along with the beautiful precolored Baby Birdie. (There's also a bit of Spring Letters in the small banners on the bottom.)
Today's challenge at The Outlawz - Paper Ala Mode - is Celebrations. So I'm celebrating friendship - using Little Angel Friends from Sami Stamps and the sentiment from Drehi is Angels Part 5. I had some fun with this one because it's one layer - I don't often make one-layer cards. I did from time to time before I knew cardmaking as a hobby! LOL! Do join the challenge at Paper Ala Mode!
Today I want to share my DT inspiration made using the beautiful new We Are 3 release digital papers. Spring Letters are beautiful papers that can be used in lots of different ways. You can see here, I used Sweet Scents for both the flower and the background on the left side. I enlarged the paper for the background - and shrunk the paper for the flower - different effects, but well coordinated. The image I used is Ladybugs by Bugaboo.
Today I created a simple flower to add some pizzaz to a journal for my 10-year-old neighbor. The flower is made from Table Scraps featuring the Inspirational Collection; the leaves are leftovers from the Romantic Garden Collection - all, of course, from We Are 3.
I have a card inspired by Mojo Monday's Sketch Challenge #492 today. This card was created using Table Scraps - think I have five different paper companies represented here. Hah! Makes me think my paper tastes run pretty much the same all the time?
