I'm Udderly Sorry

Boy Cow from Kadoodle Bug is sure to inspire your creativity. From Cutie Katoodle Cows to Dairy Cows, their cow collection is a perfect addition to your digital collection. These are fun accents to any project. Mix-n-match them, as I have with hearts from Jar of Hearts and the sentiment frame from Winter Layers.

Say it with a Daisy Rope

Hello!

Do you like to play with digis?  Get Creative is sponsoring a challenge sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  Join in the fun, share your creation (with flowers), and perhaps win 2-3 digital stamps.

For my sample, I am using The Stamping Boutique's digital image Daisy Rope

I printed the image three times - colored with watercolor pencils:
  • With the sentiment
  • One fussy cut to fit the sentiment circle
  • One enlarged with individual flowers cut for the corners

I hope you will join the fun at Get Creative Challenges.

Sweet Music

Next up is a romantic pop-up that features Heartfelt Creations Bella rose collection.  Creating pop-up cards like these are so fun and easy.  And Bella Rose offers endless possibilities for feminine, beautiful cards.  You can see I added a couple music elements from clkr clip art.

I've got more romantic/musical inspiration below.
I have a few extra kits for these cards - so will be offering a Make-n-Take for $6 each at AZ Scrapbooking on Tuesday, July 14, 10 a.m. - noon. There are only a few kits - so first come-first served.

Here is a musical card that is a perfect way to say Happy Birthday!    I had SO much fun creating these cards and am in love with Bella Rose.

Be in the Round

Happy Saturday, Scrappers!

Welcome to my blog this Saturday.  My spectacular round inspiration today came from two sources - Mojo Monday #403 and SALSA card exchange theme - In the Round.  Mojo Monday shares the best card sketch challenges.

I do have to share, SALSA's theme is "In the Round." Since I forgot about this until the last moment, I remembered Mojo Monday's sketch and thought the round circle would just have to be enough! So I grabbed some scraps and the sketch and got to work. Finished the card and without even realizing - all my scraps have round patterns on them....and, yes, I have to confess when I decided I needed embossing, I did choose a dotted folder.

Mojo Monday - Sketch 402

So retirement is finally working - I'm ahead on my blogging!  It helps that many sketch challenges have inspired me - to the point where I can't wait to share my projects.  Today I finally found Mojo Monday's sketch for this week - another quick card.

I chose hearts instead of circles and used Assorted Hearts from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The greeting was computer generated.

Circles of Memories - Scrapbook Challenge #444

Hi, All!  Happy Wednesday!
444
Today's post features Sketch #444 from Scrapbook Challenge.  Such a fun layout - with photos in circles!  Just had to use it!

I used the title from Miss Kate Cuttables - Magical Words Set.  And besides circles, I used a topper from SVG Cuts One-Piece Boxes.  The hearts are also from Miss Kate Cuttables - Jar of Hearts.

Anniversary Card

Hi, All!

Today I am with my hubby celebrating our 11th anniversary on our annual train trip - this year from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.  I always have a hard time making cards for my hubby - but I did get some last-minute inspiration the other day.

Today's card features a Wanted Poster with a pop-up image of the train at Huckleberry Railroad where we were married.  I'm loving my gun-toting silhouette at the bottom since my anniversary gift for my hubby is a gun-cleaning kit.  I hope you enjoy!

And perfect timing to enter one of the few masculine cards I make into Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - ATG goes with a twist...Male.

Sweetest Day - Ten Days of Cards

Welcome to my second day of Sweetness here at Short on Ideas!  Today I am sharing inspiration from Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - Anything Goes with a Twist - the twist being buttons.  I don't often use buttons - so I had to work on getting my creative juices flowing!  You'll see other marvelous button cards at Suzy Bee's blog.  The design team shares some magnificent ideas for using buttons!  Have some fun today and join by linking your button card to Suzy Bee's.

Sweetest Day Card

How fast can you make a simple card?  SUPER fast!  For today's card, it was especially fast because I had created multiples of the sentiment....and the 3D sticker is one of several in a pack from the dollar store.  Scraps for matting - creating a card quickly.  :D

Birthday Card

Hi, Gals!

I held my Metallic Birthday Cards class yesterday - and since my class was small, I decided to make another card during class as well.  Aren't these candles from Cre8tive Cutz so cute?  I just love them.  :D

Here is a Reason to Smile

Hello, Followers!

Welcome to my happy blog this first of June! I want to wish you all a very happy summer filled with sunshine.

Now I have this fun and easy card - with brightly-colored birdies!

I colored this brightly-adorned birdhouse to match Bo Bunny's Boysenberry Dots cardstock...with even brighter birds for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge of ATG with a Twist - this week's twist being Bright and Colorful.  My birdies (might not be realistic - but I think they are totally adorable!  They card is adorned by a sweet 3d sticker from the dollar store.  This card was so fun and easy!
