This past weekend I tried to join the gals at the Creative Memories Virtual Crop for the sketch challenges. I suppose I could have made better plans for the weekend so I would have more time to crop - but life did get in the way. LOL! I did complete two layouts - for this layout I used Mosaic Backgrounds and Enchanted... from We Are 3.
Okay, so I'm a little late (11 years late). Each year, though, Christmas is in full swing in Winterhaven, Arizona. The large North Pole sign is a Miss Kate Cuttables file I purchased. I decided to the the Antler Christmas word from Miss Kate Cuttables instead of a title.
I'm a bit behind in posting my challenges. This was an entry with Creative Memories Virtual Crop.
As you might have noticed, I've been playing along with the sketches of the Creative Memories Virtual Crop - every month there's a virtual crop with six new sketches that are always fun and exciting.
Still sharing the fun I had last week at the Creative Memories Virtual Crop....finished all the layouts in time, but just now finding time to post. The first is a layout of a visit to the Titan Missile Museum using papers from the Enchanted and Touch of Teal collections. I added white embossed cacti and popped them up on the layout. The title is computer generated.
I made this cute layout for one of the Creative Memories Virtual Crop sketches. There are always six sketches to choose from each month. The adorable papers are Touch of Teal and Enchanted by We Are 3. I used some borders from my stash that integrate well with the papers. The gorgeous stained-glass train photo was taken during one of our anniversary trips to Albuquerque. I also added a train sticker from Jo-lee - popped up.
Train trips are dear to my heart - I've had this fascination since I was small and my father brought home a Lionel train for Christmas.
I played with the Creative Memories Virtual Crop last weekend, and this is one of my layouts from a sketch. Papers are digital. The Touch of Teal and Enchanted collections are from We Are 3, and the title is computer generated.
I don't even remember my sisters at my college graduation. I'm honored to have them as sisters - we've just become closer throughout the years. They are strong women, wonderful mothers, generous ladies, and true and loyal friends. They make me laugh...often, and I always look forward to their calls.
Time for Day 3 at the Ecal Users Group with the Christmas Tag Challenge. Fortunately the new Merry Little Christmas printables lend themselves to Christmas tags, so using these I was good to go for my first four tags.
Today the Ecal Users Group is featuring Christmas Tags. My first four tags were loads of fun, and I'll definitely be making more with fab images from We Are 3.
There are new releases at We Are 3 this week and they are really wonderful. Today I'm using one of the new sentiments from the Magical Birthday set. These sentiments are "fairy" wonderful, so I wanted to use a fairy image - but wanted a clean and simple card. My paper choices are also from We Are 3 - Enchanted and Shirley's Roses.
