Dear Santa Mouse

This is for the May challenge. I used Christmas Mouse Set from our sponsor Last-Minute Manda. The set has files for easy-to-make cards....but I did some fussy cutting to be a litte creative.

Kerst Christmas Challenge

Today I have a card for the Kerst Christmas Challenge.  The challenge was using a snow globe.  I used a couple snowmen from Shabby Chic Snowmen from our sponsor Last-Minute Manda. Thanks for this fun challenge!  Loved It!

A Christmas Tag Using Christmas Anna with Last-Minute Manda

Today I'm sharing a bit of inspiration using Christmas Anna.  This digital image set is amazing.  It brings a small taste of Ann in all her Christmas finery.  I love this particular image - Anna is Christmas perfection!  What better way to showcase Anna than to create a simple package topper.

This week I embraced fall and added some buffalo plaid to my nails (yes, my sister corrected me by informing me buffalo plaid is winter - not fall!  LOL!)  My nails inspired me to dress Ann in this winter favorite.

Once I finished digitally coloring Anna, it was a joy to create my topper.  I started with a frame from Monica's Creative room - digitally paper pieced with a pattern from the Ho, Ho, Ho collection (We Are 3).  I used a sentiment from We Are 3's Special Delivery set.

This was a great way to combine some of my favorites to adorn Christmas packages with the beautiful buffalo-plaid themed wrapping paper I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year.

Christmas Creation with Kerst Christmas

Today I'm sharing an adorable card using wonderful products from Last-Minute Manda and We Are 3.  I hope you love it!

I started this card by printing two patterns from Autumn Shadows (We Are 3) onto colored cardstock.  I decided to stick to a softer palette for my card.  I pulled out Christmas Anna (Last-Minute Manda), digitally colored her, printed several copies, and layered the image.

I trimmed around the sentiment from the From the Heart collection (We Are 3) and popped it up with foam tape. Then I popped Anna with foam tape.

I love the soft feeling printing Autumn Shadows on colored paper...almost as much as I love Autumn Shadows by itself.

Isn't Christmas Anna just the cutest? She was so fun to color.

August Christmas Inspiration

What better way to add dimension to a card than with a cascade of layers to create the background? I used an image from the cute Santa's Band set from Last-Minute Manda to create this card (these reindeer are Christmas perfection) - I used a few Framed Topper layers from Monica's Creative Room to create my background.

To make sure the card is festive, I added a layered snowflake embellishment.  I kept it in a color near the background so that it doesn't draw from the bear.  A bit of dimensional adhesive is all  you need to make your card pop!

I hope this inspires you to add dimension to your next card.  I cannot wait to see what you create for the Kerst Christmas Challenge that includes an animal.

Kerst Christmas Challenge: Santa's Band with Last-Minute Manda

Hello, Kerst Friends!  I'm here today to share a new card and an old technique that will have you adding layers to your images!  Today's card is inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast, and using an image from Santa's Band (Last-Minute Manda), I created a tactile element to the card which is always fun for me.  What a fun way to add interest and dimension.

Kerst Christmas - June Challenge

Here's a holiday scrapbook layout for the Kerst Christmas - June Challenge.  June's theme is Ribbon or Lace, and I used a ribbon bow on my tag.  I used digital paper from We Are 3 (Christmas Textures), sentiments from our sponsor, Jan's Digitals, and I digitally colored Christmas Bears from our sponsor, Last-Minute Manda.

Kerst Christmas Challenge Inspiration

Sharing another card created for the Kerst Christmas Challenge using the sweet Little Santa Deck the Halls, available from Last-Minute Manda.  Last-Minute Manda is the current sponsor for this month's challenge - Use a Santa.  Thank you so much, Manda!  I love Manda's Santas. I enjoy every minute of coloring them and am quite pleased with the outcome.

I always get so wrapped up in creating a card design, I often forget the theme - nice that our images were already the theme - Santa!

Little Santa Deck the Halls from Last-Minute Manda

I used Little Santa Deck the Halls (Last-Minute Manda), a star frame, and lots and lots of poinsettias.  Simple card.  The background was embossed.

I made this for the Kerst Christmas Challenge - sponsored this month by Last-Minute Manda.

Beary Christmas

I love the sweet images at Last-Minute Manda and just couldn't resist the Beary Christmas holding a wreath.

I assembled this card using background paper from We Are 3 - Winter Plaid.  Thought the little bear would look cutest in layers for dimension.  I printed Beary three times and stacked layers to give him dimension.  WOW!  I always forget how worthwhile taking that time is!

Anything Goes Design for Kerst Christmas

I'm thrilled to be a designer for the Kerst Christmas Challenge.  One of our sponsors this month is Last-Minute Manda - with North Pole Express.  Gotta say I laughed out loud when I took the photo of my train scene...it wasn't until then I realized my "fence" is actually supposed to be train tracks!

Be sure to visit the Kerst Christmas Challenge for more fabulous holiday designs and come play along.

Merry Christmas

I designed this for the Kerst Christmas Challenge with this fun quirky Santa Claus called Sitting Santa Loves Cookies by Last Minute Manda.  Although I love all kinds of digital stamps, I really get a kick of those I can layer - so I had a ball here with Santa.  The set comes with six Santas sitting and enjoying a variety of sweet Christmas treats.   He's coloring digitally.  I added a twist with a trimmed Christmas tree from Ink and Dot.  Good thing the theme this month is Anything Goes, because once again I forgot the check out the theme before making my cards.

Be sure to check out Last-Minute Manda's gorgeous and adorable images.  There is something for everyone.
