Make it Royal Challenge

It's Day 1 of the Paper Ala Mode Challenge.  The inspiration is mind boggling!  I made this fun little card with papers and gems from my stash.   I knew Make It Royal was coming up, but had a difficult time coming up with an idea using the images we were provided.  I was inspired with some suggestions from my Wednesday's craft group....thank you, Ladies!

To provide that royal look, I added the gems and gold ribbon.  Isn't it cute?  Be sure to visit Paper Ala Mode and see all the fab inspiration.

The Paper Ala Mode Challenge

The Paper Ala Mode Challenges at The Outlawz are so much fun.  This week's theme is to use Wintry-Patterned Paper and an Animal.  Odd Ball Stamps were kind enough to sponsor - Thanks, Odd Ball!  I decided to make a tag using Wednesday's Sketch.  My wintry-patterned paper, unfortuantely, is well hidden behind my elephant.  The elephant is Christmas Elephant with Antlers from Odd Ball.  The snowflakes are a Sizzix die cut.  Click here to see all the wonderful creations submitted for the Paper Ala Mode Challenge.

Welcome, Baby!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate becoming a grandma!  What could be better?  So, here is the second page of Damian's first scrapbook (of many to come, I hope).  For a focus on this scrapbook, I've been pulling from Miss Kate Cuttables happy animal patterns - making for a fresh and fabulous child's scrapbook.  I'm officially counting down the day - Damien's arrival can't come soon enough!
