Anyways, I am in need of retirement cards - so taking advantage of Operation Write Home's 4th of July Virtual Cardmaking Party - and the Sunday 8 a.m. Sketch Challenge #232, my retirement card making will for sure fly by!
Digital stamps used in the design of these cards: Whimsy Stamps - Retirement Sentiments.
As you can see, I'm on a mission to use up the blue/black plaid paper I bought on clearance at Hobby Lobby. So even though I used a more masculine paper for Her card, adding cute bikes and flowers say feminine to me.
NJ on all of these, and what great sentiment finds too! Retirement is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi, Camille.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards that brought a couple of smiles to my face... as did the thought of retirement. Thanks so much for playing along with the his and hers challenge!
Great job! Really like #3 & #4.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your hubby a wonderful retirement. Enjoy the new chapter of your lives, it will be very different (my hubby retired several years ago and everything changed for the better.)
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards using all of that blue/black paper. Sometimes we just need to use it up to free our minds, well done! :)
