Eclips Users meet Sunday Songs and Rhymes

Here's a treat bag for last week's Sunday Song and Rhymes Challenge at The Outlawz - Catch a Falling Star.  It's made with papers from Creative Fabrica - bag file is from Shery K Designs.  Stars are from Love SVG.

I also entered this in the Eclips Users Group Challenge - Boxes & Bags.

The Outlawz - Crash Your Stash

Well, since we've been social distancing, I've had some extra time to join more challenges - this time the Crash Your Stash Challenge at The Outlawz. Since I am obsessed with Creative Monica's Layered Doilies, this was a snap. Yes, I keep Monica's files in my stash. The background paper is from the At The Beach collection at We Are 3. The Doily is Layered Doily #31.
The popped ornament in the center is from my stash of sticker embellishments. All I added was a ribbon to cover the hole for a key chain in the ornament. There's plenty of inspiration at the Crash Your Stash challenge - and there's a prize!

Stick It Down! Sketch Challenge

This layout is inspired by this month's Sketch Challenge at Stick It Down! I used patterned paper using We Are 3's Look Up collection.
I used alphabet stickers from my stash for the title.  I was also able to pull circles from my stash, as well as journaling stickers.  I used arrows from Love with Straight Arrow by Jamie Lane Designs.

A Christmas Tag

Merry Christmas, Everyone! My house is not decorated this year, so I decided to use my decorating time putting more effort in my gift wrapping. This sweet Mistletoe is from We Are 3. I added some dimension with Stickles on the berries. Then I added a Christmas Fun Tag, and added a bow for some additional dimension. The tag itself is cut from Winter Plaid.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #430

Wow!  It's been weeks since I've had time to enter a challenge.  Challenge #430 at Tuesday Morning Sketches has a nice simple sketch, so here is my card.  I chose Distressed Burlap and Brick Fire Station for my card - both from We Are 3.  The border and matting is from the Spring Letters Collection - although you really can't see the pattern.  The original sketch is above.

We Are 3 Little Star

Hello, Everyone!  Are you following We Are 3 for inspiration and eye candy?  Here's just one of my many projects using digital papers from We Are 3 - Little Star.
I matted the big birthday pic with Lattice 8 from Monica's Creative Room.  I used Print 2 Cut for the title and sun and cloud - my favorite scrapping tool.  I adore the Happy Sun and Cloud from Miss Kate Cuttables so much!  I must say - I'm pretty happy with this layout!

Today's Show and Tell

Here's a little Tucson Subway Art.  I'm still learning - feeling like it's one step forward, two back.  What I learned on this project....buy the cheap acrylic paint - it only takes one quick coat.  Next, the color on the paint sample on the bottle is not the color inside.  I spent lots of time with a piece of vinyl matching colors - nothing like it when I got it on the canvas.  Oh, so much more to learn!  LOL!  But am proud I did not give up!  I will abandon this in Tucson someplace - actually preposting, so probably has already been abandoned by the time you read this.

This Post is For the Birds!

Here's my design for this week's Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz - the theme is Pop-Up.

I used We Are 3's Nautical digital papers for the card and to piece the birdie.  The flowers are made using We Are 3's Fairy Mail digital papers.

Wild Child

How is the beginning of your week going?  Hope this finds you having a great day.  What's on your craft table?  How about joining the March 123 Challenge?  The challenge has three requirements:  The color BROWN, the word FUN, and a BORDER.  Their design team brings you completely new inspiration.  Need some time?  You have until the 30th to join.

Remember the fun you used to have playing in the park?  My grandson loves to climb - This layout will feature him climbing some playground equipment (sorry, not allowed to post layouts with photos of the kids).  You can see I included a FUN banner, BROWN highlights with my BORDERS.

Hearts and Home with We Are 3

If you know me, you know I adore paper piecing.  For this paper piecing, I chose Hearts and Home Birdie - and also Kerst Christmas - from We Are 3.  An easy tip for paper piecing is using digital papers and the fill selection in Adobe Photoshop...after printing the same selection several times, then paper piece by cutting and layering different elements.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Haunting Halloween in the Desert

I've always loved making Halloween cards - seems you can slap some orange and some black and a ghost or two on it - and everyone loves it.  I wanted to make some desert-themed Halloween cards - and I'm having a harder time with that.  But here's one - inspired by the challenge at Moving Along with the Times #13 - Things with Wings.  Let's take a look . . .It's simple - but it's a star.

Bright and Full Moon

Last night was all about the full moon.  Inspired by the full moon, I've created a card pack all about the full moon and coyotes.  These were very easy to create using an .svg called Howling Moon (Frontier.net).  They're simple cards - but I hope they will make the recipients smile.  It's about desert life - simple as that.

Sending Treats

Today I have more spooky inspiration from Dreaming Tree.  I needed to get a couple treat boxes out of the way - after all, Halloween is one week away!  These "spooky" coffins will be perfect as very special treats for a couple of our neighbor kids - how awesome!  I hope you can tell - one boy and one girl.  I was going to make some cutesy treat holder - but you know three-year-old boys.  He'd probably rather have the cutesie treat.  So I decided fun coffins for both - but girlied up one with pretty rose and green and blue.
Then, while I was on a roll, I decided to make one more for my new neighbor.

Halloween is my favorite time of year for cardmaking - as long as the cards have Halloween colors and emellies, good to go!  Dreaming Tree is amazing with new ideas and patterns.  This free "Spooky Coffin" file is free - what a great way to celebrate Halloween!
