Everything That Glitters - Glitter Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Glitter Blog Hop hosted by Lorby's World. These talented crafters believe a little or a lot of glitter can make any project sparkle, and today they are going to prove it with their creations. Please visit each partic
ipant and leave a little bit of love on their blogs.

Jearise from Lorby's World has a special drawing to go along with today's hop. One lucky winner will win a $10 gift card from Michael's. Just leave a comment on her blog so we know you joined us today. The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 28, so make sure you visit that day to see if you are the lucky winner.
I am delighted to present simple cards (you know me these days - quick & easy!). However, beauty is added to these cards with glitter. Glitter adds a quiet delicacy to every card. The first three cards use Glitter Ritz to jazz up die-cut flowers. For the last card, I used beautiful Glitter Crackle cardstock (The Robin's Nest) for the flower.

As long as we're talking glitter - I am also finishing up 100 wedding invitations for my niece's wedding. All posies were hand cut and glittered! No two invitations alike! :D Here are just a few.

And for more glitter...I purchased a new eClips last week and am enjoying finally being able to cut more intricate embellishments that my Cricut just could not handle. So I am now working on a gift pack of cards with some glittered embellishments.

Yes, I'm pretty much addicted to glitter....with stories to tell.  I did once e-mail my kids to warn them that when I die, do not get all excited about the shiny gold that covers my craft room floor - but then I thought about how much I spend for glitter!  All that glitters in my craft room might as well be gold!

Make sure you visit Lorby's World today. Leave a comment on her blog, and you will be eligible to win a $10 Michael's Gift Card.

Thank you for stopping by today and your next stop is Jamie. Enjoy the Glitter Hop projects. Here is the entire lineup in case you get lost.

  5. First off, how do you do it? You never cease to amaze me. All your cards are perfect and just out of this world. I came up with an idea. We need to video chat and craft using our eClips machines. I actually broke down and bought a bunch of cartridges at their sale. We could exchange ideas. Thanks for being here with me today. Hugs.

    1. Thanks, Jearise! Yeah, we should do that some time! I remember one of the reasons I wanted to go with an eClips was for the scoring.....I need "practice" with that! For my "Craft It Forward" project, I made some Cornucopias from an SVGCuts file.....soooo cute and quick! Think the file is called Happy Thanks.

    1. Lisa, the postcard is an image from Graphic 45's Place in Time collection...they have one or two on every month's page....and the pages are available both in 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 for different sizes.

If you like postcards, though, Tsunami Rose Designs has a nice collection of digital postcards that can be printed. http://www.zibbet.com/tsunamirose
