My card for the current Paper Ala Mode challenge is a simple card using the adorable Sentimental Canvas from We Are 3, and the Birthday Greetings digital sentiments set - also from We Are 3. The small sentiment is from the Sending You set.

Anniversary Card
Hi, All!
Today I am with my hubby celebrating our 11th anniversary on our annual train trip - this year from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. I always have a hard time making cards for my hubby - but I did get some last-minute inspiration the other day.
Today's card features a Wanted Poster with a pop-up image of the train at Huckleberry Railroad where we were married. I'm loving my gun-toting silhouette at the bottom since my anniversary gift for my hubby is a gun-cleaning kit. I hope you enjoy!

And perfect timing to enter one of the few masculine cards I make into Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - ATG goes with a twist...Male.

Lion Love
Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE the color green! For me, it's been especially fun making this green scrapbook for my new grandson. I debated whether to make the animals lifelike colors - but I've seen so many cute baby animals in greens and pinks and blues, I decided to go with green animals....and I am loving them! Here's today's page.

A Little Friendship
Good morning, All!
I have a couple friendship cards today - as usual, using scraps. These are perfect for just letting someone know you're thinking of them.
For both cards, I used a Word Art Sentiment from Digital Scrapbook Place.

Gratitude - Day 4
Hi all! Sorry for today’s post being up so late. Since traveling most of the week, being sick on top of that, and having to work late the past couple days, it's bee a struggle catching us with stuff. :D
Anyhow, for today's cards, I'm sharing a couple more thank-you cards. I used a free digital sentiment from Bits of Positivity, and then finished the cards off with posies from Heartfelt Creations.
So, enjoy today's cards. Also, watch for step-by-step instructions to make a box card using Heartfelt Creations Delicate Aster's collection this week.

Simple Card Boot Camp
Morning, All!
These cards were SUPER fast! Flower dies such as this Delicate Aster from Heartfelt Creations make it easy to mass produce - no inking really necessary. Cut lots of flowers from various papers - takes only a few minutes. Then dig into your scraps and assemble simple cards - made more elegant with the Delicate Asters and Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest. Enjoy!

Valentine Talk
Jearise at Lorby's World devotes her blog to projects to help others. I had a wonderful time creating this card to include in her hope to bring cheer to veterans in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We sent cards to the Grand Rapids Veteran's home. This is the card I sent (just no time to do more, unfortunately).
Join us at Lorby's World of Caring Facebook Page to be included in future random acts of kindness. Nice of Jearise to do all the leg work of selecting those in need, getting all the details down, then inviting us to just do what we enjoy most - making cards that bring smiles to faces of others...she doesn't quit there.....she finds challenges for us to join with our cards...and also promotes them on her own blog. Thanks, Jearise - great idea!

Sunny Yooper Memories
Hi Everyone,
December has gone so quickly and with it my family and friends in Michigan have some crazy weather! So for them, today I am showcasing cards I made to sell in the Fort Wilkins Gift Shop during the summer...maybe they will keep hope for the Yoopers that spring is really just around the corner.

Everything That Glitters - Glitter Blog Hop
Welcome to the Glitter Blog Hop hosted by Lorby's World. These talented crafters believe a little or a lot of glitter can make any project sparkle, and today they are going to prove it with their creations. Please visit each participant and leave a little bit of love on their blogs.
Jearise from Lorby's World has a special drawing to go along with today's hop. One lucky winner will win a $10 gift card from Michael's. Just leave a comment on her blog so we know you joined us today. The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 28, so make sure you visit that day to see if you are the lucky winner.I am delighted to present simple cards (you know me these days - quick & easy!). However, beauty is added to these cards with glitter. Glitter adds a quiet delicacy to every card. The first three cards use Glitter Ritz to jazz up die-cut flowers. For the last card, I used beautiful Glitter Crackle cardstock (The Robin's Nest) for the flower.
As long as we're talking glitter - I am also finishing up 100 wedding invitations for my niece's wedding. All posies were hand cut and glittered! No two invitations alike! :D Here are just a few.

And for more glitter...I purchased a new eClips last week and am enjoying finally being able to cut more intricate embellishments that my Cricut just could not handle. So I am now working on a gift pack of cards with some glittered embellishments.
Yes, I'm pretty much addicted to glitter....with stories to tell. I did once e-mail my kids to warn them that when I die, do not get all excited about the shiny gold that covers my craft room floor - but then I thought about how much I spend for glitter! All that glitters in my craft room might as well be gold!
Make sure you visit Lorby's World today. Leave a comment on her blog, and you will be eligible to win a $10 Michael's Gift Card.
Thank you for stopping by today and your next stop is Jamie. Enjoy the Glitter Hop projects. Here is the entire lineup in case you get lost.
