This layout was inspired by this month’s Picture Yourself Challenge at A Cherry on Top: Create a layout about something most people don’t know about you. I chose photos from my Engineer-for-an-Hour experience on the Pere Marquette 1225—the real Polar Express.

Trainaholic

Lasting Memories' current challenge captivated me...Famous Movie or Actor Quote. Anybody who follows me blog knows I love The Polar Express. Therefore my two-page layout is inspired by the movie - and one of my favorite quotes, "Whoa! We got it!" from the Hot-Chocolate scene. The layout is me opening the Lionel Polar Express train set my hubby gave me for Christmas the first year we were married.

Loving the Rails

Hello!

It's been 15 years since I had the opportunity of a lifetime - to engineer the 1225 out of Owosso, Michigan.  Today I am finally beginning to scrap all my railroad adventures over the past 15 years.  My adventures include the 1225 (the REAL Polar Express), my wedding, a Red-Carpet movie premiere, annual anniversaries, a trip to Alaska, and miscellaneous railroad adventures.
