Creative Memories Zoom Scrapbooking

This week I joined some Creative Memories ladies for some Zoom scrapbooking. These ladies shared some simple layouts with a twist. This is the first layout we made - specifically the geometric border on the left. Not as they taught - but I like the results nonetheless. I added the photo matting, titles, deer, and some pearls to finish off the layout.  I don't usually like to create a layout without a good schematic including photos, titles, and embellishments....but I did push myself out of my comfort zone and added those on my own....and am quite happy with the completed layout.  Yes, I've done it! Now to complete the two-page layout Diane shared. Secretly, I am proud of myself! The deer are from Star Jame Lines - Baby Deer with Mom.

Stick It Down Sketch Challenge

Today I chose the Stick It Down - Double-Page Layout sketch using papers from Dragonflies in Flight from We Are 3.

Again, the design is based on this month's Sketch Challenge at Stick It Down...I did flip it horizontally.

Counting my blessings that I've hoarded craft supplies all these years - at least I can continue with my daily routine of playing with paper.  God help us if we have to resort to using any of my paper stash for toilet paper!  Wishing now I'd kept that big supply of mulberry paper - LOL!

Stick It Down Sketch

We Are 3's Dragonflies in Flight collection is one of my faves. For some reason my background paper didn't print in the deep turquoise it should - will have to do some computer troubleshooting. I didn't want to waste the paper, though - so decided to use it for the background - and I don't think it's very noticeable once I finished the layout. It worked out pretty well after all. I followed the sketch at Stick It Down for the layout - substituting all the lovely flowers and hearts with tooth-fairy related embellishments.  I also turned the layout pages on their sides - and swapped the order of the pages.  Finally, I finished off the layout with sequence (big surprise, right?) Stick It Down Sketch Challenge

For the Stick It Down Challenge, I used Camille's Cactus and Camille's Cactus Flower from We Are 3 to embellish my single-page layout. The paper was designed for a previous challenge.

We Are 3's Vintage Carnival

Slowly, but surely, things are getting to our new normal, and I'm managing to crank out some layouts. For this layout, I used paper from We Are 3's Vintage Carnival collection...surely one of my faves. 

Stick.It.Down! Sketch Challenge

It's a new double-page sketch challenge at Stick It Down. For my layout, I used photos from a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

All my papers are from the Look Up collection from We Are 3.  I'm playing catch up from a big project, so I used dollar store stickers for some simple embellishments.  So now it's time for you to get your scrapbooking on - come play along.

I chose Look Up for my latest scrapbook - it's been perfect for my layouts and is rather uplifting with the color combination. Not exceptionally creative - but it turned out alright.

I'm back with a very simple layout.  I hope you all like this....worked on this layout for maybe all of 20-25 minutes - including printing the paper and cropping the photo.  I used patterned papers from the Vintage Carnival collection from We Are 3.

Grandson - Hanging Out at the Mall

Hello, Everyone!  I hope you're enjoying your Monday.  I would like to share a layout I did for a picture of my grandson riding a truck at the mall.  Of course, as you know, I can't share photos of the grands.

I cut - I mean tore - the left two panels from We Are 3's Vintage Carnival.  Very quick and simple layout - that's what I've been shooting for lately as I am so behind in my scrapbooking.

Hello, Everyone!  I'm here today to share some scrapbooking inspiration with you.  I made my layout with Vintage Carnival digital papers...perfectly cute!  For embellishments, I used Musical Notes from Thank You for the Music from SVG Cuts.  Last but not least, I added some fun embellishments from my stash.  The photos will be of my grandson dancing - the QR Code on the right will play a video of him dancing.

Enjoy the Little Things

For today's layout, I used the fun, bright papers Spongebob and Patrick (Below Blink) and some Table Scraps from Back to Basics (We Are 3.)  These papers are digital - it's so convenient to print just what you need.  Your can see they are nice and bright.  For this design, I kept the layout a bit more are than I usually do - have to admit, not having to search for the perfect embellishments saves time!

Spreading Love with Family Scrapbooks

Over a year ago, my husband and I "inherited" boxes of old family photos.  My in-laws expected me to scan and share all the photos...of course, my mind immediately thought scrapbooks for each family!  These albums are slow moving - so far my in-laws haven't asked whatever happened to those photos  but I can't wait to finish and showcase them at a family gathering!  Here is the latest layout.

Hi, Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a layout inspired by the current challenge at Scrap Our Stash.  Today I am sharing a page that shows one of my grandson's favorite activities - sleeping! (You have to use your imagination as I'm not allowed to share photos of my grandkids.)  Scrap Our Stash has a great Bingo Challenge going on.  The diagonal line I chose is The Color Red (the die-cut background), Hearts, and Mixed Alpha Title (which worked out great since I didn't have enough letters of one kind to make the title).
