I Love Textured Scenes at We Are 3

Have to say, Textured Scenes is one of my favorite collections - so I've chosen it for the papers for my oldest grandson's scrapbook.  This layout is made using the fabulous Textured Scene by We Are 3.  I used some Christmas elements from my stash with computer-generated word art from Miss Kate Cuttables.

New Festive Friday Challenge

Yes - yet another scrapbook page from me.  Yeah, I know....doesn't she ever get tired of scrapbooking?  Well, as long as I have great subjects - probably not.  The Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge this week includes Congratulations, so I just had to scrapbook my grandson's Karate Belt test.  Not shown in this pic, but this layout will include a QR code to be able to see a video of his actual test - if you want to include videos in your projects, visit QR Monkey.  I have to admit - pretty darn simple and easy layout!

Creative Memories Virtual Crop Sketch Challenge 2

It's Virtual Crop Weekend at Creative Memories with lots of inspiration with sketch challenges.  Always a fun weekend.  No prizes for me as I did not use Creative Memories papers - for this layout I used the Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit from Little Scraps of Heaven. I cut the heart and title on my Eclips.  I used Print2Cut for the Christmas embellishments.  Instant Christmas!  Just about all the embellishments came from my stash.  Woohoo - would love to see that stash disappear!  Be sure to visit the Creative Memories Virtual Crop Facebook page to see what everyone has made to inspire you and join in the fun tomorrow and Sunday for more fun.

I'm also entering this in the Eclips Users Group Anything Goes Challenge.

Little Scraps of Heaven Kawaii Ornament

The Twisted Thursday Challenge this week at The Outlawz is Stitching.  I had good intents of adding faux stitching to this layout....but before I did, it just looked complete to me.  I used paper from Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit, Little Scraps of Heaven, to make a fairly clean and simple layout.  Not a whole lot of color here.  The titles and journaling were computer generated.  Kind of different for me, but it was fun.  Although I had nothing to share for the Twisted Thursday challenge, I appreciate their fabulous inspiration.

Zoom Layout from Snippy Scrappers

I'm back today with another layout from a Snippy Scrappers Zoom session earlier this month.  I used Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit from Little Scraps of Heaven.  The photo will be my grandson decked out as a zombie courtesy of Halloween.

The fab zombie came from Creative Fabrica, and I think my grandson is gonna love it, don't you?  Good zombie embellishments are hard to find.

The journaling came from my daughter-in-law's Facebook thoughts, and it totally cracked me up with the photo.

Scrap Squad Virtual Crop Sketch for Scrapbook Generation

One of the new monthly challenges on the Scrap Generation Scrap Squad Facebook Page:  Allison Davis Sketch.  Here it is.

I started adding color blocks on the base.  Then I used an ice cream cone svg to make the banners.  Next came the matting and fall leaves.  I have no idea how long I've been holding onto those leaves!  They worked like magic!  Woo Hoo!  Now for the title.  I started with a title from Miss Kate Cuttables - Soak up the Sun.  Just didn't fit my layout, so I edited it to change the Sun to Color.  Every scrapbook project needs journaling, don't you think?  I hate to journal, so instead used a quote found in my stash.  I also found some additional text embellishments to add.

Single-Page Layout: Stick It Down

My layout was inspired by the fabulous Stick It Down October sketch.  Fun layout for not having any photos to work with, don't you think?  Be sure to check out all of Stick It Down's sketches this month.

Snippy Scappers September Challenge

This layout was inspired by the fun sketch challenge at Snippy Scrappers...flipped vertically.  For my layout, I chose Kawaii Ornament digital papers.  I added embellishments from Miss Kate Cuttables, Graphic 45, and Digital Crea - all from my stash.  The Left border is Fleur de Lis - but don't know where that came from.

Little Scraps of Heaven Kawaii Ornament

Okay, tell me I can't scrapbook my grandson's life without photos!  I don't get many photos of his activities, so I resorted to using a comic and Facebook post that depicts our lives during the pandemic.  The layout is inspired by Tucson's Snippy Scrappers, Creative Memories consultants.  I added some silhouette karate images.  Perfect for the times, huh?
The gorgeous papers are from Little Scraps of Heaven called Kawaii Ornament.
