On the Road Again from Little Scraps in Heaven

Today I have one for a friend who has been visiting from Canada.  He will be leaving soon, so we are sending him off with some goodies for the road trip from Arizona to Canada.  I found the basic elements from Little Scraps of Heaven (On the Road Again).  I quickly added a cactus and sun rays for our Arizona and snowflakes from my stash for what he will find at home in Canada.  The vehicle is popped up for some dimension.

Creative Memories Virtual Crop Sketch Challenge 2

It's Virtual Crop Weekend at Creative Memories with lots of inspiration with sketch challenges.  Always a fun weekend.  No prizes for me as I did not use Creative Memories papers - for this layout I used the Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit from Little Scraps of Heaven. I cut the heart and title on my Eclips.  I used Print2Cut for the Christmas embellishments.  Instant Christmas!  Just about all the embellishments came from my stash.  Woohoo - would love to see that stash disappear!  Be sure to visit the Creative Memories Virtual Crop Facebook page to see what everyone has made to inspire you and join in the fun tomorrow and Sunday for more fun.

I'm also entering this in the Eclips Users Group Anything Goes Challenge.

Little Scraps of Heaven Kawaii Ornament

The Twisted Thursday Challenge this week at The Outlawz is Stitching.  I had good intents of adding faux stitching to this layout....but before I did, it just looked complete to me.  I used paper from Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit, Little Scraps of Heaven, to make a fairly clean and simple layout.  Not a whole lot of color here.  The titles and journaling were computer generated.  Kind of different for me, but it was fun.  Although I had nothing to share for the Twisted Thursday challenge, I appreciate their fabulous inspiration.

Little Scraps of Heaven Kawaii Ornament

Okay, tell me I can't scrapbook my grandson's life without photos!  I don't get many photos of his activities, so I resorted to using a comic and Facebook post that depicts our lives during the pandemic.  The layout is inspired by Tucson's Snippy Scrappers, Creative Memories consultants.  I added some silhouette karate images.  Perfect for the times, huh?
The gorgeous papers are from Little Scraps of Heaven called Kawaii Ornament.

Rainbow Hugs - Sunshine Kisses Card

This is my first Easter card this year. As you can see, I used Rainbow Skies - I think it is soooo pretty. I did a little paper piecing by using one of the patterns for the Easter egg. I also used a sentiment from the Rainbow Wishes set.

Mystery-Item Challenge

I so enjoy the challenge of Mystery-Item Swaps for our local SALSA group. This month's include three pieces of assorted colored foam scraps. I used a Heartfelt Creations die to make flowers out of the foam scraps. I used paper from Little Scraps of Heaven's Octopus with Daisy - I recolored two of the papers to match the foam flowers. I found the Aloha from Miss Kate Cuttables' Aloha Word Set...I also recolored that image.

Pastel Baby Card

Today I am sharing a baby card with you.  This is especially fun to make by using patterned paper for the blanket, as well as the card background - both from We Are 3's new Pastel Angels.
I used Sleeping Polar Bear (Little Scraps of Heaven) for my image.  I added a precut doily and a lacy border on the side - and pearls used to make the card pop.

Memories Floating Along

We will be holding a small memorial for my sister-in-law - instead of a photo-collage board, we opted to have a short video sharing old pictures of Lorraine.  I figure when I can no longer get to Hobby Lobby, I will opt for digital scrapbooking - so decided to use that format for the video.

Today I'm showcasing my first layout - the free template from Rohana Designs.  The list of digital supplies is listed below.  I spent LOTS of time trying to figure out how to add the photos - but now things should go a bit more smoothly.
Yes, the second layout went MUCH quicker.  I'm on a roll now!
A couple pages I'm not happy with - but here is the last page.
