It's Day 4 of the Eclips Users Tag Challenge, and you know what that means! Yep, I'm outta ideas! LOL! Today I'm celebrating Santa. Right now we have perfect flip-flop weather, but during this season, I sometimes find myself dreaming of a white Christmas. I used the adorable Santa SVG from SVG Cuts. This file is one of my all-time faves because it's so easy to assemble. It's all paper pieced - and I added some fun eyes. I mean to emboss his beard and hat fur - but I got so involved in assembling, I forgot! So just imagine it being embossed in some cool folder. LOL!

Santa Card
This card is the product of needing quick and easy Christmas cards.
I started with a card base approximately 4-1/2" x 3". I then covered it with paper from the Christmas Tree Card Kit available at We Are 3. I opted for the printed digital paper rather than plain red to give Santa a little pizzazz! I cut Starry-Eyed Santa - he's approximately 4" x 5". I used these sizes because I have a bunch of larger envelopes I am trying to use up. My cutting machine was busy with another project, so I hand cut Santa. The way he is designed, it takes very little time to fussy cut him....a good project while watching Hallmark Christmas movies. I added a black belt with a gold buckle and some pearls for button holes. If you're looking to give Santa a little more pizzazz, cut three copies of him the same size - layering his face, mustache, and hat fur.

Santa Wishes
So much for New Year's Resolutions - last year's resolution was to post at least every other day....but life got in the way. LOL!
I'm excited to be back today to show you my latest project, this sweet and simple Christmas globe frame I made for my friend - I make one for her each Christmas with her grandson's picture.
