Family Fun

Hello!  Today I have a layout to share that I created using Sketch #303 from Scrapbook Challenges.  I mixed things up a little using arrows rather than tags.  Some ruffled crepe I bought years ago was perfect and, I think, adds to the vintage feel I want.  I accented with some leftover images from Graphic 45's A Place in Time.

I just love sketch challenges to help me scrap . . . these layouts are perfect for all sorts of themes.

Christmas Inspiration

It's a Birthday Card

Wow! I'm actually preparing this post a week ago - as I'm traveling to visit my first grandchild. I am betting by now that I am SUPER tired. I actually just get tired thinking after this quick trip, I have to return the work for a long day Friday! LOL!

Anyhow, for today's card, I kept it simple with just layers of colors + ribbon. I used scrap pieces from Graphic 45's Place in Time paper collection. Enjoy!

Place in Time Collection

Do you have plain cardstock that could use some classing up quickly?  My advice?  Go for printed images!  This is a Graphic 45 (Place in Time) image I had left over from a project - perfect for Mother's Day.

Kind of modern, funky card today.  St. Patrick's Day card - I used Classic Glitter cardstock from the Robin's Nest, as well as tags and images from Graphic 45's Place in Time Collection.

Amazing Mother

Hello to everyone,

Hopefully those of you out East have weathered the snow.  By now I hope the "worst" is over for you, and you will soon be feeling some warmth.  Ha, ha, ha...sorry, I just can't quit chuckling as I enjoy a beautiful winter with highs in the 70s.

So I am currently on a countdown to true retirement - 309 days to go.  I am truly enjoying my job - but I don't have enough time to do all I want to do with my card making.  Of course, when I retire, the question may be how that will impact my crafting budget.

At any rate, that is why many of my cards right now are basic.  Have a card to share with you that is perfect for Mother's Day, Mom's Birthday, and just because you're thinking of Mom.  Here it is.

Recycling Project

Treasure those unforgettable Christmas cards by recycling the card front. I don't generally like to do that with cards I receive....but I couldn't pass up this beautiful image. I teamed it up with a scrap of border from Graphic 45 and a dotted chipboard border to make the perfect card for my family and friends who are snowed under out East.

Fall in Love

It's an exciting time of year....so many fall and Halloween digi stamps at 2 Cute Ink!

Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all just around the corner. Yeah! I am having fun with 2 Cute Ink's digi stamp collection. Let me tell you, this collection is unbelievable. Today I am posting cards made with the digi stamp Fall In Love for your viewing pleasure.
