Framed Neutrals on a Gift Bag
Hello! Hope you all are having a great week! I would like to share a project I made using the new Framed Neutrals from We Are 3. I hope you are enjoying all the fun cards we are sharing using the March Release - so much inspiration!
I decorated this plain gift bag with flowers made from the Framed Neutrals collection. I cut the flowers using ABC Flowers (Dreaming Tree). I embellished with lace, paper roses for flower centers, sequins waste, beads, and a plastic pick from my stash. Too cute, eh?

Power Poppy Hues to Use - Hollyberries

Hi there! Today I'm sharing a card I created for Power Poppy's weekly Hues to Use. I chose to highlight the gorgeous Hollyberries. You can see the beautiful hues in my coloring.
I used paper from the cute Once Upon a Time digital paper collection (We Are 3) on a gorgeous background from the Framed Neutral collection (We Are 3).
Power Poppy Power & Spark - Inspired by Fabric
My card today is "Inspired by Fabric" on Power Poppy's blog.
We are 3's Summer Butterflies digital papers make for a pretty card....as does the Spring sentiments.
March Release with We Are 3
Hi, Everyone! I have been having fun making cards with We Are 3's March Releases - here is another one to share with you. Check out the new papers and images and join in the fun!
My card is a standard A2 card. I cut the blue matting and floral background from the Sunny Days collection. The bunny is 1-1/4" x 1-7/8" from Tea Cup Bunny. I used the floral paper design for the tea cup. I added a simple Easter greeting. The ribbon and button makes a sweet finish, don't you think.

Onesies with a Tutu
Good Morning, Everyone! For my project today, I made some onesies for my husband's cousin's baby shower. While checking out favorite onesies online, I fell in love with the saying "My Little Black Dress." So I started searching for black onesies and a little black tutu. I actually found the printed onesie for cheaper than I could make it! But I wanted to do more and use that little tutu for more than three months. So I bought a couple more onesies to personalize to go with the tutu so now that tutu will go one for a year.
For the second onesie, I made this and hope Grandpa gets a kick out of it.
For the first onesie, I used Princess Crown from Miss Kate Cuttables. This was not planned, but I love how when you look quickly, it looks like "Princess Short." This is my first "cutout" technique - not sure why my crowns didn't match up...ooops.
For the second onesie, I made this and hope Grandpa gets a kick out of it.

Speedy Recovery
Hello, Everyone! Hope you are having a good day! Last week, one of my grandsons broke his arm. I thought he needed some fun shirts to explain the cast. I only hope he isn't taking after his clumsy Baba! Yes, I've been know to have a broken bone - or two - or three - or four - okay, five!

Hand-Drawn Stars and Bubbles
Hello, Everyone! I hope you've had a great week! I can't believe it's Saturday - AGAIN! Our joke is that every day is Saturday when you're retired - First Saturday, Second Saturday... Wow, the Saturday's just keep flying by! This is even more pronounced when you realize your youngest child turned 30 years old recently! Ashley is really my stepdaughter - but to think she's been in my life since she was 13! Hmmm....maybe next year I'll have to do something really special - from 13 to 31!
But this year? Well, I used this special occasion to design my card for the Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz - Anything Goes! Come join in the challenge - you have until next Friday enter! Hope to see you there!
I used Hand-Drawn Star and Bubbles from Odd Ball Art for Ashley's birthday card. I colored all the bubbles dark green - and the stars a shade or two lighter. I resized the image and layered it several times to make the festive background of my card. Then just a simple 30th birthday sentiment to finish it off.
Boy, if you're looking for a great digital stamp for making a celebration card, this is awesome! Check this image out!

Special Kind of Love
Hello, Everyone! So what plans do you all have for the weekend? Planning to be in your craft room at all? Today I would like to share this simple layout with you. Actually, with these different patterns and odd shapes, it really wasn't so simple. I chose all these different patterns and shapes to kind of mimick what my photo will be - a photo of my grandson's pre-K class with all their hands in a circle to compare skin color in a lesson. For that reason, I thought it would be fun for my layout also to have a variety of papers. all the patterns are in the Vintage Carnival collection (We Are 3). Oh, well - I do like my end result.
I fell in love with Robyn Gough's Whimsical Words of Love sentiments and thought this photo really does display a Special Kind of Love. You can get this word art at Etsy.

Beautiful Wishes
Hello, Everyone! Welcome to a new month at We Are 3 and, as always, new papers, images, and sentiments! Today I would like to share a simple card perfect to let your favorite coffee lover know you are thinking of her. The base is white cardstock, with a grey matting. To top two layers both come from the new Framed Neutrals. The sentiment is from the new Tea Tags.
I paper pieced the cup sleeve from We Are 3's Woodland Delight. The cute little coffee cup is from A Creative Need. I finished the card off with a simple button and gorgeous ribbon.

Hey There, Sweetheart!
Hello! It was probably ten years ago that I started "collecting" digital papercrafting files. I know when it's time for me to move into "the home," I'll be lucky if my entire apartment is as large as the craft room I have now. So I got to thinking how best to downsize - and determined that I probably could have lots of crafting fun with just my computer, printer, and digis - become a digicrafter rather than papercrafter. Recently, single-layer cards have become popular - and the more challenges I enter with this twist, the more I enjoy them! So here I am - ready for my apartment with a bed, tv, computer, and printer - and guardian, of course.
Today I would like to share a single-layer card with you. I'm getting pretty good at whipping these out, so my apartment will probably still need lots of room for white cardstock and ink!
For my print layer, I used patterned paper and a flower from A Sure Sign - Sekada Designs. I used a sentiment from Whimsical Words of Love - Robin Gough Designs.

Hues to Use Challenge
Hello, Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day! I had an awesome day creating my own background paper for the Hues to Use Challenge. I had a blast! After several starts, I was able to get the look I wanted. It's a color challenge again over at Power Poppy today. The colors are inspired by Tight Malachite during Marcy's visit to the Smithsonian. These colors are so much fun - I had to join in. But then again, Hues to Use and Featured Stamper at Splitcoast are my two greatest reasons to avoid housework! Be sure to stop over at Power Poppy for all the details and check out the amazing inspiration from Julie.
My background is created using one flower - Josephine Clematis (Doodle Pantry). My background is inspired by Jessie's card at Power Poppy yesterday where she enlarged a floral design, creating a background. I took the one flower and printed several copies in different sizes and different colored patterns. I added some borders, along with adding a sentiment and a butterfly. The sentiment is from Whimsical Love (Robin Gough).
I Hope You Dance
Hello, Everyone! Happy Tuesday! I've had an awesome time taking dancing lesson with my hubby over the past several months. I now have to admit there is no hope. I have this dancing thing out of my system! We did have so much fun, though. I made a quick thank-you gift for our instructors that I am sharing with you today.

Three-Patterned Multi-Media - Light of Day Tag Swap
I added a butterfly flourish from Miss Kate Cuttables on the left, and the sentiment was created in Word. I added some embossed triangles, sequins, and a gold sun to finish it up. The gold sun is an accident - it was supposed to be a shimmery gold, but I grabbed the wrong paint can. A little darker than I envisioned in my mind - but I do like my finished project.

Hot Pepper Wishes!
Today I have a "hot" card I made using a "mystery item" for our local SALSA group. The mystery item was the patterned paper used in the left panel, complete with red and green peppers. I found some complementing red and green papers from We Are 3's Holiday Letters collection. I cut out some peppers from the mystery item to embellish. Don't you just love the red-glittered peppers?

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff
Hello, Everyone! Hope you're having a good weekend. Today I made a another layout for my wedding album.
I debated how much I wanted to say about how much I disliked my wedding cake. The baker, bless her heart, did a wonderful job! We were on the phone so many hours trying to get her to understand what I wanted. This is the first cake she's made that wasn't a traditional five-tier cake. Then my florist was to supply white flowers for the tops and pastel lavender ribbons to match my colors. The story about how I learned I wasn't getting what I wanted from our custodian is fun - what I love about small towns! My wedding venue was 40 miles south of where I lived. My florist was 40 miles north. So the florist's daughter worked at a gas station next to my baker...thus the flowers ended up there for when the baker was ready for them. The custodian's daughter also worked at the gas station...word travels fast in a small town. :D I decided to add some of the story to my layout - just to remind me that you just have to laugh at the small things...and I had to admit the wedding cake was a small thing. I do want to make it clear - it was never my intention for my wedding cake to look like a collection of Easter bonnets. :D
