One of my favorite cards is the box card. It's a great way to celebrate - gives more than the average card. Here is what I came up with for my cousin's 80th birthday - Ernie's always been handy and spent most of his retirement taking finds apart and making new finds. There are lots of patterns out their for box cards - I like this particular size because it fits perfectly in Hobby Lobby's vellum envelopes - measures 5-1/2" x 6-1/4" finished folded flat for mailing. I couldn't resist entering this into the challenge at Moving Along with the Times...their theme is "So 80s." Okay....I know their interpretation is the 1980s - but my interpretation is Ernie entering the 80s. I hope they like it.
