Here is a card inspired by the card Susan shared with us during Susan's Scrap Club class. The card was totally fab and super easy.

Hunting Season is On its Way!
At We Are 3, there's a new collection out - Ink-Blended Scenes. Which circle is your fave?
I've been having a ball matching up silhouettes with the scenes. The sentiment is computer generated. The box is from My Scrap Chick. The deer is from Hungry JPEG - cut on my Eclips.

Ink-Blended Scene Collection
I'm so excited to be making my first card using the new Ink-Blended Scenes. I made a simple card using papers from the Birthday Bouquet collection (retired).
I love the serene feel of these images. I added a fairy and have her resting on the sentiment. It was fun choosing which fairy to use - especially since she was really an afterthought. Fairies go so well with ink-blended backgrounds.
The sentiment is also We Are 3 - All Occasion.
I hope you'll pop by We Are 3 and check out the fabulous inspiration by the design team. You'll see how fun and versatile these images really are.

We Are 3 New Release
I'm having so much fun with the Ink Blending Backgrounds - still playing! I really think the fun backgrounds really lend themselves to single-layer cards. I chose a mermaid theme for this one. In keeping with the single-layer style, I added a free sentiment from Love SVG. I added some branches off to the side - I thought they give an illusion of depth. Kind of fun, huh?

Scrap Squad Virtual Crop Sketch for Scrapbook Generation
One of the new monthly challenges on the Scrap Generation Scrap Squad Facebook Page: Allison Davis Sketch. Here it is.
I started adding color blocks on the base. Then I used an ice cream cone svg to make the banners. Next came the matting and fall leaves. I have no idea how long I've been holding onto those leaves! They worked like magic! Woo Hoo! Now for the title. I started with a title from Miss Kate Cuttables - Soak up the Sun. Just didn't fit my layout, so I edited it to change the Sun to Color. Every scrapbook project needs journaling, don't you think? I hate to journal, so instead used a quote found in my stash. I also found some additional text embellishments to add.

Creative Confetti "Emboss Like a Boss" Challenge
The Creative Confetti challenge this week at Power Poppy is "Emboss Like a Boss." I had a lot of distractions this week, so my card is quite different from my first thoughts. I decided that the cute Pumpkins and Pears would make a wonderful autumn card. I framed the pumpkins with Victorian Christmas (We Are 3) and added some embossing to the pumpkin stand for a metallic look. Conveniently, Power Poppy included a Thanksgiving sentiment to add. Woo Hoo! Please visit Creative Confetti to see the fab work by the Bloom Brigade - and pull out that embossing powder to play along.

Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge: Birthday Wishes
I always enjoy participating in the Creative Confetti Challenge. There's a new one every Tuesday. Woohoo! The Creative Confetti Challenge always inspires me....but more than that my personal challenge is to take their theme and see how I can use files and papers I already have - sometimes a real struggle for me!
I used Print2Cut to make the lacy doily with my Eclips, using a Layered Doily from Monicas Creative Room. The sentiment and image are from Power Poppy's Pure Prairie Bouquet set. I digitally colored the bouquet. Then I matted and popped the bouquet and sentiment and called it done. I have to say - simple enough to make, but I love it.October 14, 2020
Eclips Users Celebrate It All Challenge
I'm so excited to finally have come to a decision as to what I wanted to do for treat boxes this year! My design is inspired by the challenge at Eclips Users featuring the fabulous Halloween Pumpkin by Creative Fabrica and a pumpkin from Simply Crafty SVGs.
Did you know that Creative Fabrica now has freebies daily? The Halloween Pumpkin collection is one of the daily "gifts."October 13, 2020
Simply Autumn
I'm so excited to get started on my Halloween treat boxes and being able to use scraps from my stash of fun and fabulous We Are 3 papers.
For these boxes, I used a file from Lori Whitlock and added some Victorian Christmas and embossed fall leaves - along with Jan's Digis' sentiment.

Earth Expressions
WOW! Look at this! A new paper collection and it's sized specifically for slim-line cards - Earth Expressions. Bonnie's been busy and has added some fabulous new papers to the We Are 3 shop. I added some simple flowers and a computer-generated sentiment. Very simple, but I love the end result. Now visit We Are 3's Facebook page for more inspiration from the fabulous design team.

NonTraditional for a few Challenges
This week's challenge at Power Poppy is right up my alley - using a fall image with nontraditional colors. I love using nontraditional colors....see some of the pumpkin wreaths I made this year at the end of this post. (I believe in equal opportunity as my grandson's entire scrapbook is using Christmas papers - LOL!) Using nontraditional colors for autumn is a bit more difficult - but I'm happy with what I ended up with. My first thought was the old 80s favorite - pink and green. So I used Pumpkins and Sunflowers from Fred She Said - with mint green pumpkins and pink flowers. My friend Mikah sent me a letter wrapped in gorgeous decorative tulle - so I decided to make this card for Mikah using the tulle on the card. The light background layer is tulle adhered to pink cardstock. The darker version is using the tulle as a glitter stencil...double duty with adorable tulle!
The design is inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast. I cut the image and sentiment using my Eclips.
Here's pics of some pumpkin wreaths made in nontraditional colors.

Stick It Down Scrapbook Challenge Two-Page Layout
It's time for another fun Stick It Down challenge - two-page layout. These sketches are one of my fave ways to be inspired....and what could be more perfect than scrapping my grandson's recent birthday. The paper is from We Are 3's Little Star collection - and I've added some contrasting balloons. The title is computer generated. Pretty basic, but I think it's cute. Be sure to stop by Stick It Down for more inspiration and come play along.
Snippy Scrappers: Sketch Challenge
It's the last challenge of the Snippy Scrappers Groupies September challenge - a card sketch. Certainly my entry is a very rough CASE of the actual sketch - not exactly what I had envisioned when I began, but I at the very least salvaged the card to be pretty cute. Not such a failure after all.

Single-Page Layout: Stick It Down
My layout was inspired by the fabulous Stick It Down October sketch. Fun layout for not having any photos to work with, don't you think? Be sure to check out all of Stick It Down's sketches this month.
