It's time for Christmas cards - and that's exactly what I'm short on - TIME! So for this easy Christmas card, I printed the nativity scene and a sentiment onto a pattern from Magical Scenes. Quick and easy!

Blue and White with We Are 3
My card today is inspired by a design by a local artist, Susan Bossierre. I used the fab papers from We Are 3 - Magical Scenes, Ink-Blending Backgrounds, and Pastel Fantasy. Added some Christmas trees, deer, and poinsettia. The sentiment is from the All Occasion set.

Warm Wishes for the Creative Confetti Challenge
There's a winter-themed challenge at Power Poppy's Creative Confetti Challenge. My image is Camille's Cactus from We Are 3, digitally colored. The sentiment and background are also from We Are 3 - Sending You and Magical Scenes. The theme is Winter Time - we were to create a card to represent this beautiful season. Are you getting jealous? This card shows you a representation of the beautiful winters I get to enjoy here in Arizona. Now I did think I could take some time and add some snow for fun - but I didn't want to jinx myself! We've had an unusually warm summer - and I'm planning on that being true for this year's winter weather as well.
The simple design is inspired by this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast - I'm busy and wanted to create something simple.

Snippy Scrappers "Sweater" Layout
This baby layout just melts my heart. It was inspired by a Sweater Page at the Snippy Scrappers' Zoom class Wednesday. The digital paper is from Digi Crea, and I used a lot of my millions of pearls for buttons and lacy embellishments. The lace color is from Monica's Creative Room.

Purse Textures by We Are 3
The newest release at We Are 3 is Purse Textures - perfect timing for fun gift packages for the holidays! I made this gift package that will hold some color coordinated nail products to donate for a teenage girl needing Christmas gifts.
Isn't this gorgeous? You may be thinking - "but so dark!" However, on her wish list, the teenager requested dark clothes and makeup....I think she will brighten up when she sees the fund black and gold nail strips inside. I seriously thought about keeping those nail strips for myself! LOL!

Two in One Day
I get the idea of a crop after spending the weekend participating in the Creative Memories Virtual Crop - I am getting so many of my photos scrapbooked! And I'm enjoyed using the Spring Medley pak - double duty! Everything I used on this page is from the Spring Medley pack.
So you still have until midnight to participate. What are you waiting for?November 14, 2020
Sketch Layout with Creative Memories
This weekend I decided to participate in something a little different for me - a virtual crop at Creative Memories. They are sharing lots of sketch challenges (and prizes). I don't think Creative Memories papers need to be used, but I did decide to do my newest book using their Spring Medley, so by the end of the weekend, I will have lots of pages completed....maybe! i used the fabulous Spring Medley, along with a banner from Miss Kate Cuttables. I really love the way it came out. Be sure to check out the virtual crop for more inspiration - there are loads of Creative Memories goodness there!
A Sweet Easter Layout
Here's a simple layout I adapted from a sketch at the Creative Memories Virtual Crop - using Spring Medley from Creative Memories.

A Sweet Nature Layout
Here's a layout using papers from Best of Autumn from We Are 3. I think those autumn colors work well with the nature photos from the Desert Museum.
I like how the rows of small photos so represents how you feel when you visit the museum.

Relaxing in the Yard!
Sitting in our yard, it's evident retirement was a good choice! Here are photos from an evening on which we are celebrating the "wild" horses visiting our neighborhood.

We Are 3 Eart Expressions
This one is easy peasy. I selected paper from one of We Are 3's Earth Expressions. I added flowers from an old coloring book - so much fun to color. I love this earthy background - has such a geode effect. I fussy cut the vase of flowers and popped them. I added a woven sentiment sticker from my stash. Then I was finished!

We Are 3 Ink-Blended Scenes New Release
The weather has been quite lovely, though we had some much too cool days last week! I'm still playing with all the new ink-blending goodies at We Are 3. Today I made a simple card using the Ink-Blended Scenes from We Are 3. Today the scene is graced by Camille's Cactus and Camille's Cactus Flower.
The Ink-Blended Scenes are so perfect for a little soft soothing touch to your cards - WITHOUT THE FUSS! Just resize for your needs and print. The design team has done a fabulous job using these scenes, so be sure to take a look on the Facebook Page.

Stick It Down Challenge
Stick it Down has a wonderful single-page sketch this month. I would have never thought of connecting my title to the background - and so easy to put together! I kept the layout simple - for my pregnant niece. I still love the paper collection I chose for this book - Positive Vibes from Digi Crea.
I've had the ladybug stickers forever! Their colors go so well with my paper choices, and make adding a little color to the page so easy. Take a look at other takes on the Stick It Down sketch here....and come play along!

Power Poppy - Creative Confetti - Let There be Peace
For this week's Power Poppy challenge, I created a simple card using a number of the fabulous stamp Acorn Ornaments from Power Poppy.
Here I not only have a card wishing Peace on Earth, but coloring these beautiful ornaments was the most peaceful time I've had this crazy week. I love how these turned out. I feared I couldn't do these justice after seeing others' work - but they just came all together easily. I realized that my peace is coloring images that are simple as these are. I enjoy single items such as these acorns much more than floral arrangements and bouquets and scenes and people. I prefer a simple single flower layer that I can build - that's what I like about these acorns - I am seeing using these a lot this Christmas season.November 3, 2020
