Today I'm sharing a fun layout for my grandson's SpongeBob-themed scrapbook.

A Simple Layout

I got to play with my wedding album today.  I created this simple layout of our Best Man and Maid of Honor (my stepkids).  This page was obviously very easy to create - sometimes we forget that less is more.

Great Digital Papers

Sharing something using some beautiful We Are 3 digital papers.  I also included an image from a coloring book The floral image comes from a coloring book I purchased last year.

                   

Weekend Table Scraps

Using some Table Scraps from We Are 3 projects.  These papers are so much fun to use.  These cards area going-away gift for a neighbor who is moving.  House images are from Pretty Grafik Design.

Owl Gift

Sharing a card made with Table Scraps from We Are 3 - I had fun using Watercolor Leaves to paperpiece Patriotic Party Owl from Kadoodle Bug.  I also used Ladybug Lace for matting the card and label.  Inspiration for the card came from this weeks Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.

A Fun Layout with Boy and his Toys

Of course, no boy's scrapbook is would be complete without layouts with big-boy toys. Here is a layout for my grandson's book with him playing on a train, riding a tractor, and helping his grandfather repair a bike. (Sorry, no photos allowed)

English Lady - Paper Ala Mode

I have never seen more beautiful digital papers than We Are 3 - and I love to mix and match!  I love the color palettes and the subtle patterns.  I literally gasped out loud when I first laid eyes on the many watercolor patterns.  For my design using English Lady for Paper Ala Mode, I could not wait to print her on papers from the Romantic Garden Collection.  For background papers, I used Bird's View and Nature Blends.  The current challenge at Paper Ala Mode at the Outlawz Challenges is "unusual fold," so I created an accordion-fold card.  I had a great time making this card!

Hello, Scrappers!

I am back today with a vibrant fun layout.  Spongebob Squarepants really pops off this layout - making it the perfect layout for my grandson's scrapbook.  He, of course, is a big Spongebob fan.

On the Patio

My Father's Day gift to my hubby was a new patio umbrella - this is the card I made for him - just a little paper piecing with some scraps from We Are 3.

                   

My Nephew - A Star of Hover Adventures

Hello, Everyone!

I've been on vacation in Colorado - took a little time away from the screen.  It's amazing how being retired is just about as relaxed as you can get - yet a few days away is still much appreciated.  At the Outlawz before I left, the Monday Greetings challenge was "Get Sporty."  I'm not sure using a hover board can be considered sport - but my nephew's birthday was yesterday, and his birthday wish from everyone was for cash to go towards a hover board.  So my card shows my nephew as the king of hover adventures.

Funky Cakes

I really love Glitter Ritz - but so seldom take the time to design with it recently.  Outline stickers and fine glitter can be used to create fun themed cards with sparking images.  To create this set of cards, I used Funky Cakes outline stickers and Watercolor Batik digital papers (We Are 3).

Dreamy Creamy Single-Layer Cards

Hello!  Happy Tuesday, Scrappers!  It's time for another Art Abandonment.  Today I'm sharing some fabulous simple ideas for single-layer cards.  I got this beautiful inspiration by a Featured Stamper at Splitcoast.  Admittedly, her card was mixed media with a fun inked background - and I used digital papers.  And I'd guess she used masking to add her floral image - and I used digital images.  Nonetheless, I was amazingly inspired by her work to create this set of cards to be abandoned during our vacation later this summer.

The background papers come from the Dreamy Creamy collection at We Are 3. (My camera added a yellowish tint.)

A Wedding Layout

Here today with a new layout for my wedding album.  The layout is inspired by June's Rewind Sketch with Rochelle Spears (turned sideways).

Today I have a card with We Are 3 digital papers Bird's View and Ladybug Lace and an .svg from Heather M. - all perfect for this Yooper-themed card.

  

It's All About the Gown

Sharing a layout using products from We Are 3.  These papers are so much fun to use.  This is my wedding day - my dress designer (TKO Designs) and seamstress came to help me get dressed and to make sure I looked my best in their very gorgeous gown.

The vertical strip on the side was inspired by the Challenge #117 at Creatalicious Challenges - Using a die or punch.  I used a border punch for the two narrow strips.

It's difficult to see the detail in my background - but I used Burlap Beach for my background and Nature Blends for the watercolored borders.

Awesome Watercolor Batik: June Release

I decided to make some card gift packs to abandon when we vacation later this summer.  This set is full of leaf images perfect for simple accents on the cards.  I used the Watercolor Batik collection (We Are 3) for the leaves and side accents.  Sentiments from All-Occasion Sentiments were printed on solid blue paper.  To complete the cards, I added a yellow border from the Wild Child set (SVG Cuts).  This border is perfect for adding a little accent.
