Inspired by Dawn Phillips and Baby Boy (Cardmaking, September, 2011), the simplicity of this card is the guest of honor.
Second card - inspired by an old Hero Arts catalog.

Happy Cactus
Good Day, Scrappers and Fellow Card Makers! Here's just a little something today inspired by the Feeling Sketchy Challenge. As usual, a bit too late. Actually, I followed the post for last week's winners rather than this week's challenge. Oh, well! LOL!

Sweet Smiles of Summer
Happy Sunday, Everyone!
I first have to thank my awesome followers. I love hearing from you...and visiting your blogs when I get a chance.
Today, I have a scrapbook layout for you that I created for my grandson's book - the photos will show him having some summer fun - playing in the mud, his first swim in the pool, eating by himself the first time, swinging in the park, drinking water from the tub faucet - and a great picture of him tuckered out and sleeping on Grandpa's shoulder.
My inspiration came from Get It Scrapped - an article on giving your photos a story.
This project is entered into My Whimsical Little World's Challenge - Anything Goes.

A Spacey Happy Birthday to Damien!
How I look forward to celebrating my grandson's 1st birthday! But I was a bit stumped on his birthday card....until inspired by Mojo Monday's Sketch Challenge #407. The rest of my inspiration came from one of our birthday gifts for him.
We are giving him this fun Deep Space comforter. When I saw the circles on Mojo Monday's sketch - there was that aha! moment!
The comforter explains my choice of colors - dark grey is not typically used for a baby's card. The Planet on the front is on a Wobble. I truly had too much fun making this!
Files used include Pretty Sun and Space Set - both from Miss Kate Cuttables.

They're Getting Married!
Tonight's project celebrates my cousin on her upcoming wedding with a Two-Bells card. I made another "fun" card - but decided against it for one that showcases a bit more elegance and beauty in her colors. (Actual card is more "pastel" than this picture depicts.)
For this lovely card, I used Blanc Boutique cardstock (Paper Studio) and Gradients (Craft Smith) - I, unfortunately, don't remember where the bells file came from as I downloaded it four years ago - so guess SVG Cuts since they were about the only site I used back then. If anyone knows for sure where I got this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
This card is being entered in the Can You Case It Challenge #79 - Designer's Choice.

When I saw this great Christmas tree from ClipArtBest, I knew what I wanted my next Make-n-Take to be! I already had a prototype of the elf card - and loved the red and blue papers together - resulting in the third card. The elf and little girl are freebies from Carinas Freebiesida. Other files used include School Borders and Polka Dot Backgrounds (Miss Kate Cuttables).
Come anytime between 10 and 2 - make one, two, or all three cards. I will also have some leftover cards from the last Make-n-Take - come visit for a while!

Cactus
I keep a list of different cards I need - yet never seem to find time to fit all my projects into my schedule. Really, there are days when I’m marvelously productive - other times? I question how I wasted away my day. I was once fabulously gifted at multi-tasking. somewhere I lost that skill - LOL! Things change, I guess.
But today I did get back to my list and made some simple Southwest birthday cards using Cactus Tree from Little Miss Muffet and some Birthday Tags from Fontaholic.

Florida Move
I love embossed embellishments - and I have just a few go-to die/embossing kits. These quickly give a plain card a pop of personality! Today's cards make up a gift for my hair stylist who will be moving to Florida. I thought they'd make great cards to send to her friends with her new address - but I left them blank since most people just text that info nowadays...they will still be perfect for anytime notes from Florida.
And, as usual lately, all made from scraps! In fact, after messing up a couple of cuts, I found myself in the garbage looking for real scraps so all my cards would coordinate. LOL!

Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge

Playing with Glitter and Copics
I've done some coloring on transparent glitter with outline stickers - today I tried coloring on digital stamp images. I was pleased that when I covered the image with glitter, there was still a nice dark image coming through - this generally hasn't happened for me with regular stamps. For a first attempt, I'm pretty pleased...certainly need to choose better colors...guess my Copic collection will have to continue to grow.
The image used here is Flower Accent by QKR Stampede. The sentiment is a freebie from Lazy Daisy Designs. For the matting behind the sentiment, I used 6 Background Shapes by Miss Kate Cuttables.

Can You Case It Presents Three of a Kind
I am so excited to have a card of any kind to show today! My day was chock full of what? I don't know - just know that it's after 9 p.m. and just having time to play. So I enjoyed making one little simple card from scraps laying on my table - decided to use Can You Case It's Three-of-a-Kind challenge for a little inspiration.
Today I received some happy mail, so thought Three of a Kind was perfect for some flowers in my bundle. But when my quick design was complete, the flowers didn't work...so instead my three of a kind are my fun glitter-covered vellum butterflies.
Be sure to join in the fun at CCCI - their designs are AMAZING!

A Baby's Love on a Scrapbook Page
Happy Tuesday, All!
Today I have a scrapbook page. This was a fun, easy layout. I used a Delicate Aster from Heartfelt Creations. I also used a heart from Blue Valentine by Digital Creations. This is also embellished with a banner from Miss Kate Cuttables. The sentiment next to the photo is a digital stamp from Drehi Word Art. This is entered in the Eureka Stamps Challenge - I See Stars.

Butterflies and the Wedding Couple
Hi, All!
Today's card is very easy to do.
I used a wedding couple die cut I made years ago - can't even remember where I got the file - or where the file is. I covered a piece of Graphic 45 with some glittered vellum. I glittered three butterflies and gemmed them.

Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge to get you Poppin'
Hi, All!
Today I have another entry for a sketch challenge. Sometimes you just gotta play, right? :D I love challenges because they challenge me to make a card I wouldn't ordinarily make. It's purely about self challenge! So today I used some scraps - including a couple journal cards from Heartfelt Creations. I used Flourish Circles by Heather M - and then added a bit of Glitter Ritz to a butterfly accent.
Can You Case It Opens up Creative Excitement with Weekly Challenges
Can You Case It is inspiring card makers with weekly challenges. This week's challenge #76 is a color challenge. My challenge was to see if I could meet this with scraps. So here is a simple romantic/wedding card using a heart from Kadoodle Bug's Jar of Hearts and Love sentiment from Drehi.
