Both the patterned paper and the birdie are from We Are 3 - April Showers and Birdie's Boots. LOVE the raindrops because it is actually an overlay and can be used over other paper colors and patterns for different looks. This is a card celebrating Splashes for The Paper Ala Mode Challenge at The Outlawz.

Spring Boot Bouquet from We Are 3
We Are 3 is sponsoring Crafting of Hue this week. For this card, I used the new Spring Boots Bouquet by We Are 3. Aren't these boots fun? For some dimension, I popped up some extra flowers.
The papers I used are Howdy and Vintage Carnival. The image was digitally colored.

Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge
OMG! I love black and white cards! This fabulous flower is Power Poppy's Black-Eyed Susan. I think this flower is exquisite. This week's Creative Confetti challenge is to use a black-and-white image. The background behind my flowers is A Sure Sign (Sekada Designs). The card base paper is one of the first papers I purchased when I first started papercrafting 15 years ago - never found a use for it, but liked it too much to toss.
I embellished using a simple bow with some ribbon I've had since forever. Love, love, love this challenge!

Puppy Dog for Crafting of Hue
My Puppy Dog is digitally colored, and I added the Dog sentiment. The patterned papers are, of course, We Are 3...Rainbow Wishes and Just For You.

Crafting of Hue sponsored by We Are 3
This adorable image is Splish Splash Boots from We Are 3 - digitally colored. They carry dimensional die-cut flowers from Heartfelt Creations. I used Watercolor Delight to paper piece the boots, as well as the card base. I love these boots!

Crafting of Hue - Sponsor: We Are 3
This week, We Are 3 is sponsoring Crafting of Hue. There are many We Are 3 printables I thought of using for this card; I finally decided on Honey Bee, which not only has a pre-colored image, but a digital stamp you can color as well. I combined it with a sentiment from the Number Birthday - I think the Number Birthdays are a fun way to acknowledge birthday milestones to make a truly personalized card. I added bee hives from the Bumblebee collection. The patterned papers are from the Snowmen collection.
I popped the sentiment, bee, and bee hives. Isn't it cute? For more inspiration, be sure to visit Crafting of Hue and We Are 3.

An Adorable Freebie from Creatieve Papier
Looky here! Creatieve Papier has done it again, offering this adorable rubber duck gift box file absolutely free with any purchase during the month of February. Creatieve Papier is the place to go for unique 3d svgs. I snagged this adorable guy for our daughter's birthday. I used my Eclips. I used digital paper for just about all of it.
The duck lifts up to reveal a small gift box.
Inside I have some rubber duck bag clips. I don't do many 3D projects, but I love how this turned out! Check out Creatieve Papiers website for more fun 3D projects - and remember, this rubber duck is free with any purchase made in February.

Power Poppy's Creative Confetti and Rainbow Skies
Happy Thursday! This week at Power Poppy, Creative Confetti's challenge is to "Frame It Up." There's a lot of ways you can frame an image. My card is inspired by Cheryl Peterie's submission to the Heartfelt Creations' Design Team. I liked how she "framed" her focus point with flowers. Back in the day, I was all about Heartfelt Creations and dimensional flowers - I recently gave away all my Heartfelt stamps to go 100% digital. But I did keep my few dies - so here using their daisies cut from Rainbow Skies (We Are 3) to frame my image.
The papers aren't photographing well with their pale colors, my pale background, and my unfortunate lighting. My image is one I colored years ago, but never used on a card - Dog Days of Summer (Karleigh Sue)....I'm still proud of my washtub - but I've come a long way on coloring hair! LOL! I still used the image, though, as it's perfect for my friend's birthday next week.
I used Layered Doily 16 from Monica's Creative Room for the top - is that cool or what? The front sentiment is from We Are 3's Birthday Wishes - Not sure, but I think the inside sentiment is computer generated. Be sure to stop by Creative Confetti to see the creative entries for this challenge. Also be sure to stop by We Are 3 for the fabulous new Rainbow Skies collection.

Mini Daisy Treat Bag for Eclips Users
Just look at how well that plaid fits this treat bag. For the Sizzix Eclips challenge, we were to use the Clip Path function - which I had managed to avoid up 'til now. The plaid paper is from K Becca's Halloween Sample Kit, the flourish design is Festival from Shabby Princess. Using Clip Path, I was able to center the plaid and flourish designs. The treat bag is the free Mini Daisy Treat Bag from Dreaming Tree. I was so excited about learning the Clip Path function, I kind of ignored other parts of the bag file (daisy and flap outline). Since I wanted to see the centered flourish, I didn't add the flower - instead I used a metal brad from my stash.

Paper Ala Mode - Happiness Is...
The Paper Ala Mode Challenge calls for cards that define Happiness. I used We Are 3's Happiness Is for my image. Then I added a sentiment from the Hugs set - what can make you happier than a warm hug? The image is attached to the card with photo corners from my stash. I added a small blue tag. The patterned paper is from the Miss Daisy collection. I used the same pattern for everything - the background, the background behind the image, and the girl's dress, with just a touch of a different pattern for her petticoat. I love, love, love the Miss Daisy collection. You should try it - you'll like it!

Rainbow Hugs - Sunshine Kisses Card
This is my first Easter card this year. As you can see, I used Rainbow Skies - I think it is soooo pretty. I did a little paper piecing by using one of the patterns for the Easter egg. I also used a sentiment from the Rainbow Wishes set.

Stick it Down and We Are 3
This month at Stick it Down, the single-page sketch is beautiful and fun to work with. I'm a abig fan of layout sketches, so this is always a fun challenge for me. I love to combine digital and traditional scrapbooking with papers from We Are 3. Digital scrapbooking saves time - especially with large titles as seen on this layout. I chose to flip the sketch horizontally.
The patterned papers are from the Little Star collection at We Are 3. The letters in YOU are Grid Alphabet from Free Scrapbooking....recolored turquoise to match the papers.
Be sure to stop by Stick It Down and check out how everyone used the sketch, and stop by We Are 3 to browse delightful work from the Design Team.

The Outlawz Color Challenge
I wanted a clean and simple card, and found a sample in Pinterest with a gorgeous flower made with scalloped circles. I used paper from Burlap Beach for the flower. I also put a sentiment from the Anniversary set inside a scallop circle. The background paper is from the Snowmen collection.
The sentiment and flower are both popped up for dimension. All it needed (for the color challenge) is a little pink flower and red flower center. You'll be amazed at the variety of cards participants make for this week's challenge. Be sure to check them out here. We'd love for you to play along.

Freebie Progressive Challenge - Featured Stamper Challenge
Notice that I got smart today and combined two of my favorite challenges - using the freebie My Best Friend from All Dressed Up. I looked at the papers in my stash and came across these papers from We Are 3 - Rainbow Gingham and Howdy Autumn. Funny because when I color images, I usually color without any papers in mind - so these mustard papers just happen to be perfect for my colored image. Both the image and the papers are digital. Then I added a couple beads. Not creative or elaborate as other entries in these challenges, but I love the way it turned out.

We Are 3 Birthday Release
Wow, this Corner Flip Fold card was a bit more complicated that I expected. I learned how with a template - easy peasy. Then our challenge was to play around with different sizes. After several tries - I stuck my template. LOL! I was determined to get it right, though! And I'm really happy with the results.
The paper and rose are from We Are 3 - Happy Birthday and Rose Bud. The inside is also decorated with paper from the Happy Birthday collection. I just feel the whole thing has a soothing feel - I like it.

Hittin' the Trails
Hi All! Oh, I sure did enjoy when the fabulous wild horses would roam through our community. The lattice work is Lattice Pennant from My Scrap Chick, and the patterned paper behind the title is Look Up from We Are 3.
The little butterflies are from Martha Stewart.
